This place has a convenient location with a beautiful beach and easy access, along with comfortable parking. The bathroom is clean and fully equipped, ensuring comfort throughout the stay. Although there are some areas for improvement, the overall experience is still very worthwhile.
We are a family with teenage girls and stayed in Villa 1. We were incredibly satisfied by our accommodation. It was very assuring to have our emails prior to our stay answered very promptly, and to have the airport transfer waiting when we arrived. We were greeted by very friendly staff and were very impressed by our accommodation. With our own private pool overlooking the beach, there was not much more to wish for. After a lovely night's sleep listening to the gentle waves, we were excited to embark on the breakfast buffet. We were not disappointed! The variety and quality kept all of a us happy, well-fed, and occupied for an hour or two. The staff were very attentive, everything was immaculately clean and food/drinks were replenished before they was empty. On our first morning, we were greeted by Triet, sales executive, who gave us his email address to use if we needed to contact him for anything. He also gave us the WhatsApp number of a fantastic driver Tue who was available for us to use for our stay. Communicating via written digital ways allowed the staff to use translators as we couldn't speak Vietnamese and they didn't have to try to decipher our accent. Using a driver for the week was great as he was like a friend, giving us local information and even escorting us across the road one busy night at riverside in the city area. He offered to drive us to many local attractions. We went to Marble Mountains (fantastic, but wear your walking shoes) and Ba Na Hills (cable car ride is amazing). A day trip to Hue would have been great but we didn't have the time. HoiAn is another must-do which we stayed at after Danang. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool area, with its cave waterfall and kiddies water slide. Cocktails were delicious. We spent a lot of time here and at the beach which is gorgeous, and we are very critical judges of beaches. A walk along the beach to the left in the early morning will have you witness a buzz of fascinating local activity.
Let me summarize for those who will come here. This place is great for those who want to enjoy hotel breakfasts and delivered meals without going out in Da Nang, and just swim all day. The three-dimensional space also makes for good photos. However, I would recommend other hotels in the city for those who plan to eat out after breakfast, go sightseeing, and return for a rest before going out for dinner. Of course, if you don’t mind spending on taxis and have time to spare, it doesn’t matter, but it is a bit far from the city center. The resort facilities are satisfactory, but individual preferences may vary. Personally, I don’t prefer the latest modern hotels, so I liked this place. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Southeast Asian interior design and wooden furniture! The veranda is also spacious, making it a paradise for smokers. The breakfast was great for the price. A fantastic pho place! An amazing egg omelet spot! The hot water in the bathroom comes out very well. You can boil water right away for cup noodles. And some people mentioned a smell from the air conditioning, but I didn’t find it too bothersome... it’s just the common smell from air conditioners over a year old... Above all, what I liked most was the incredibly spacious room. Running to the door when I hear a knock while lying on the bed leaves me breathless.^^ You can do three tumbles inside the room. I recommend this place for those who would feel embarrassed by the sight of stylish Korean men in fluorescent shorts, with tattoos on their arms, spitting on the floor while smoking at the hotel entrance, and for those who want to quietly spend their time with a few books in their travel bag. The best part was the kindness of the staff here. I believe a good start to a trip begins at the airport and hotel desk. I’m leaving after a comfortable five days of reading books and resting.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Olalani Resort in Danang, Vietnam. The property was in a pathetic state, with visible signs of neglect and poor management. The staff's attitude was rude and unhelpful, which set the tone for a terrible experience. The rooms were in a deplorable condition, with broken showers, non-functional taps, and old, dirty linen and no.locker in the room. It was clear that the resort wasn't maintaining its facilities or prioritizing guest comfort. What was even more shocking was the lack of flexibility with check-out times. Despite having almost zero occupancy, the staff refused to extend our check-out time even by 15 minutes, literally throwing us out of the hotel at 12:15 pm. This lack of courtesy and understanding was appalling. The resort's limited service hours, with staff claiming to leave for the day at 10 pm, further added to our frustration. Given the low occupancy, it seemed like a reasonable expectation for some level of service to be available throughout the day. Overall, my experience at Olalani Resort was extremely disappointing. With so many better options available in Danang, I would strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking here. Unless significant improvements are made, I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone. If you do not get anyother hotel in the city still don't book it, try n change the date.

Olalani Resort is an older resort that is going through an upgrade. Group of 3 friends stayed in 3 bedroom apt, all with our own king room and ensuite. Room with an ocean view which was beautiful. Air conditioning throughout bedrooms and living areas. Our apt had older furniture but we weren’t in the apt much to really care. Unfortunately there were no plates, pots, cutlery in our kitchen. You may need to ask for it or buy. Not sure… Buffet breakfast included pastries, toast, eggs (made to your liking), bacon, noodles, soups and variety of fruits. Staff lovely and helpful. Used Google Translate for some conversations but we all got by. Professional pictures misleading as there is no swim up bar. Not many people around the pool so good of you like the quiet but not so good if looking for more of a vibrant atmosphere. Beachfront access fantastic. We got a great deal and were really happy just to have our own space. Better than hotel style accommodation where rooms are smaller and no lounge areas. “Grabs” aka Taxi’s are easier, quick and cheap! Great beach club located very close “Nautical” which highly recommend!
