“Decent Stay, But Several Issues to Note”
This was my second time staying at this hotel, and while there were still some good points, there were a few issues that made the experience less enjoyable compared to my first visit. We were transferred to a different room during our stay because the original room had a broken light and the hot/cold shower wasn’t working properly. Unfortunately, the WiFi did not work at all throughout our stay, which was a major inconvenience—especially for those needing a stable connection, like virtual assistants or remote workers. That said, the room itself was spacious and had the basic amenities you'd expect: mini fridge, safe, hot/cold shower (when working), and a room phone. The bed was clean, very comfortable, and had a thick comforter that made it feel more premium than the room rate would suggest. The main reason I booked again was for the pool, which my kids enjoyed. However, the pool could have been maintained better—there was quite a bit of debris floating in the water, which made it feel less inviting. The 5th-floor restaurant/café served simple, traditional Filipino breakfast options like tocino, longganisa, and daing na bangus. Nothing fancy, but it was enough to start the day. One downside this time around was the noise. Three years ago, I remember the area being very quiet at night. On this visit, the road noise was constant—trucks and vehicles could be heard clearly from our room, likely due to the hotel’s location right beside a busy road. Overall, it's a decent option if you're not reliant on WiFi and don’t mind some road noise. Hopefully, with a bit more maintenance and improvement in service reliability, it could be a better experience next time. Front Office staffs were excellent though!
