Stayed here around Lunar New Year week. And still the cost per night was affordable. The location was perfect cos its along the Han river, walking distance to Dragon bridge and near to restaurants. Even it was holiday, you can still find restaurants that are open. The hotel building and room were bit old. If you are sensitive with noise then you have to bring an ear plug. Seems no sound proofing. When somebody is talking loudly on the hallway, you will hear it clearly from the room. And the downside was the cleaners. They were knocking the door at 8:30 in the morning to do housekeeping. Its not common on any hotels (even in other countries) to do that early. They should have notified the guess during checkin.
The hotel has a lovely traditional charm with its tiles and furnishings. My room was small but adequate, with a view of the river. Breakfast was good with a variety of dishes. The staff particularly Gerry at reception were lively and helpful. The only thing letting the experience down was the terrible sewerage smell coming up from the plumbing and drain. It made m we feel sick. The complimentary coffee and tea were not replaced daily - is that part of the service? Other the location was great and accessible to river walks, market,banks, the beautiful Cham museum and shops. I would recommend if they clean up the bathroom. It's unhygienic and unsanitary.
I am in Da Nang from Australia for dental treatment and to enjoy Da Nang and Vietnam which I have visited pre coved. Vietnamese excell in customer service and they are courteous to a fault. This hotel may not be the Hilton but it is pleasant, clean, affordable to an elderly person on a budget, and has lots of charm, from the traditional paintings on the walls to the tiles and furnishings. It has access to everything and is on the ruver near the dragon bridge. I see the ruver and enviro s lit up every night. I have extended my stay while my dental work is being done.
Hotel entrance is stairs so you have to bring your luggage up the stairs. The room looks run down with damages to wall from other guest here and there. A window would not close so bugs could come in anytime behind the curtains. The AC was dusty so I had to wear a mask to sleep in the few nights I was there. The mini bar fridge has a see through glass door which is what I liked best. The Hotel reception said there’s a fine of 200k for washing clothes in room. Therefore we didn’t use their swimming pool because we couldn’t dry our swimsuit in the bathroom. Only option was to use their laundry service. There a ‘son laundry’ service nearby that charges cheaper than the hotel and they do pickup and delivery same day too. The Han market is in waking distance, about 6 minutes away. There are restaurants nearby but I suggest to going to a bit pricey restaurant for better foods and with better air conditioning. You could watch the dragon fire bridge from across the hotel on the weekends.

“Pariat Riverfront Hotel”
The location was perfect. Could see the dragon bridge show from our room window, the view from the rooftop cafe was even better. There were many eateries and Han Market all within walking distance. The breakfast spread was good. The room was small but functional and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However the phone was not working, each time we need to ask the staff anything, we have to go to the reception counter. The TV was also not working, the staff came and did something but each time we change channels, it stopped working again. The housekeeping was not the best. During our 6 days stay, the sheets were not changed at all, the pillows were not even fluffed up or positioned nicely, all that was done was folding the covers back. The coffee and tea bags were not replenished after day 2. A piece of cracker that was dropped on the floor on day 4 was there till we left. Overall the stay was ok, location great, go for it if you can overlook those housekeeping issues.
