Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Pres - Luxembourg hotels & accommodations

fantastic. In an amazing location in Saint Germain, amongst tight, character filled lanes and old buildings. Plenty of eating options locally and beautiful shops too. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help. Extremely comfortable hotel and although road was busy and noisy, double glazing was very effective. Breakfast was perfect and couldn't fault it. Only n...

I really enjoyed this hotel. My room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated and noise was never a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the lift is very slow. I loved the location, only minutes from some of the best patisseries and La Grande Epicerie, and many attractions were within walking distance. Try to book dinner at La Cadole, ...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Citadines Apart'Hotel Saint Germain Des Pres. We specifically wanted to stay in the Saint Germain area to get that "left bank" feel. We were impressed that when we arrived the reception gave us maps and showed us the best places to eat and the nearest landmarks. Concierge was very helpful. The location of the hotel was fantastic! Wa...

I enjoyed the convenient location this hotel offers, walking distance (15-20min) to St. Germain des-Pres which one of my favorite spots in Paris. Many bistros nearby for a quick bite. Hotel itself feels new and welcoming. I love the wall art decor. On the flip side, room is very small (but expected), bit difficult to put my big suitcase flat on the floor, not enough r...

Pros: -The hotel is in an excellent location. You are extremely close to the metro and to buses. There are restaurants everywhere, and best of all is the little express supermarket on the right. You can buy cheeses and breads for cheap and bring them with you on an excursion. -The room is comfortable and traditional, while the bathroom has good quality toiletries. (Ac...

For us, it was a risk booking this hotel in advance since it was still finishing renovations at the time of our booking (June 2012). When we arrived in July, however, the rooms and lobby were beautifully equipped. The room was indeed small, however, I was told that this is usually the norm in Paris, especially when it is located in the heart of the city. The room had ...

Louison Hotel was lovely. Our room was small but comfortable. The location was perfect, not far from the Luxembourg Gardens and Palace. We were surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants. Our stay in Paris was soured by four undercover police who 'attacked' us on the street. Shaken, we returned to Louison Hotel where the staff could not have been nicer. They would...

We needed to overnight in Paris on New Year's eve and Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche offered very competitive rates that did not skimp on service, quality or location. The room is very comfortable with all the expected amenities and check-in/out were very simple. They even provided a free demi-bottle of wine with souvenir wine opener and glasses. Courteous and professional ...

Stayed at this hotel for our last night in Paris. Great location in Saint-Germain. Hotel is adorable with attention to detail in the room. Rooms are small but perfect for 2 people, bathroom is average for a European hotel. Wish I had time for the breakfast, because it looked amazing!

We just stayed for one night here to meet friends before flying home, but great stay! Loved the wonderfully decorated room in blue and white. A little small but perfectly appointed with desk, closet, nice bathroom with tub/shower and comfortable bed. Excellent location in the 6th arrondissement close to lots of shops, eating places (try Cafe Buci!), the Seine, Notre-D...

The Hotel Villa Madame is located on a quiet street only 2 mingles away from the Luxembourg Gardens. Don't let the location on a map dissuade you. It is within a three minute walk of three separate metros and buses that allow you to traverse the city without easily. It is a five minute walk to the heart of the Saint Germain District. More importantly it is a one minu...

We almost lost a hotel reservation because Agoda messed it up. They had no information about the room (sleeps 3, when we had a family of 4), no refund, extra charges for for an extra person in a room from the original booking price. Then on a day that we were driving to Paris received a warning that hotel can not accommodate us. So Agoda added a sleeps 4 and charged e...

A great hotel in the best location of Paris. We have travelled all around the city and can definetly say that the hotel is in the best place (Saint-Germain). The hotel can be defined as a boutique hotel, small but a top quality hotel, comfortable beds, good room equipments (hair dryer, ironing, tea-coffee making facilities - teas are perfect), a very delicious breakfa...

Our family of three had an enjoyable time staying at this lovely hotel. The staff (we were served by 3 of them but we only managed to take note of Christopher’s name) were all extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. There was a problem with the shower tap in our bathroom but the issue was promptly addressed by the staff by having the faulty tap replaced with a new one. ...

Best would be the room. It was very clean and every feature works. The staff were very friendly no matter how they get busy, they need the key to the room whenever you go out and I had no trouble getting it back. I was worried at first but I trusted them. Also the wifi was really fast, I uploaded more than a thousand photos when I was there and it was super fast. Very ...

The Hotel des Deux Continents is in the perfect neighborhood of Paris on the Left Bank: Saint Germain des Prés. Across from a lovely, delicious cafe, Le Pré aux Clercs, and down the street from the world famous Cafe du Magots and Le Bonaparte, there are plenty of places to sit with a coffee or glass of wine to people watch. You are minutes away from lively streets, Not...

We had the most wonderful experience with the hotel. It is a beautiful boutique typical French hotel in one of smaller inside streets but right around the corner of larger ones w/tons of cafes, restaurants, shopping. It was just perfect! Our room 52 was simply gorgeous: nice updated bathroom, lovely French decor, balcony & breathtaking views of the city rooftops. We st...

The hotel locating between Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Odeon, and Mabillon stations and is very convenient to go anywhere in Paris. There a see many restaurants and boutiques around the hotel and even supermarket. Only a small problem was that they do not provide hot pot and coffee or tea so you need to run to a cafe if you really need some caffeine to relax your busy da...

The jardin du luxembourg area was very convenient, the hotel is very close to many eateries (at Odeon) and a supermarket / shopping mall right beside it. I requested for a room with a balcony and enjoy the morning coffees outside. Hotel Belloy, sister hotel of Le Petit Belloy also offers free champagne and sweets daily from 5-7pm. I enjoyed the desserts including mac...

Our room was just like the photos, cute with lots of character. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, The Louvre and more. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with fresh warm crepes, eggs, sausage and pastries. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great little place in the heart of Paris. Small rooms but clean, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and close to Louvre, Notre Dame and Muse de Orrsey. Also close to several famous cafes on Blvd. Saint Germaine. Thaw staff were all extremely friendly and helpful

Located in Saint Germain area this hotel offers recently renovated rooms. Despite check in is only 3pm we have been able to get a room early in the morning as it was available. Staff was friendly and accessing easily to our requests. Easy access by metro. A good place from where to begin the exploration of Paris. We did not chose to eat in the hotel so cannot judge thi...

Cute hotel with a great location right in the middle of Saint Germain. The middle of the hotel is a cute little garden which you can see from the windows. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced hotel in Paris with a bit of personality!
Cheap places to stay in Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Pres - Luxembourg

Most of the things good about the hotel (next to Luxembourg gardens, Bus stations, bakeries, markets), except they ask you to leave the key at the lobby which I feel quite uncomfortable leaving every time. Reception staff was too kind to allow us to stay at the ground room that we appreciated a lot due to stuff we have along plus my 2yo kid.

The hotel is definitely small and older, but the place is well kept with typical winding stairs of Europe. They have an elevator from second floor up, a cute dinning cum common area with couch and a TV. The service is very good and they spoke english which was great and since it was a smaller hotel the service is also feel more personalize. I got a room with a view of ...

We stayed here for 4 nights (19 to 23 April 2014). It was a basic simple budget hotel with a modern touch. Although room was small, it was sufficient for two of us to slot in our luggage, little walking space but this is Paris (hotel rooms are generally small). Nice guy receptionist e.g Bill, yaya. Hotel was located walking distance to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Garden and...

The location and neighborhood are excellent. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Supermarket is across the street. Friendly and knowledgeable stuff. There is a tea pot in a room. Would be good if they had a mini fridge and safe in rooms. Cons: rooms on the Saint Germain side are very noisy, AC is weak.

We had an excellent stay at the Apostrophe. We especially loved the staff, who were kind and helpful. They made us feel at ease, put the wine on ice and helped us find our way through town. Rooms are small but smart, and design throughout is gorgeous. The location was excellent for walks to Jardin du Luxembourg, boutiques and restaurants.

This hotel has a great location. Very close to food markets, pastry shops, restaurants, sights to see, and the metro. The rooms are on the smaller side (compared with US hotels), but that is expected. People in my party had trouble with their showers (no hot water, low pressure) but I did not experience any issues. There aren't many bells and whistles, but if you wa...

Me and my husband we very much enjoyed our Stay atthe hotel Sevres Saint Germain. The service was exceptional, staff very kind and helpful. We arrived very hungry after midnight when all restaurants w...

Loved this hotel. The balcony and the rooftop area had great views and were fabulous to watch the sunsets from. Very near the Latin quarter with great bars and restaurants, and Saint Germaine a more upmarket area also full of bars, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful small hotel on the Left Bank just a few steps to the Boulevards San Michel and San Germain in one direction and the Seine in the other. Vibrant street life just around the corner with many cafes, restaurants and shops. Nevertheless, never a problem with noise or sleeping. Hotel is well-furnished with all amenities you would need. Rooms are more than ample...

This was my first international travel experience and in a country that speaks another language it can be intimidating. Hotel was located in the center of St-Germain district. There were full of restaurants, antique & fashion shops. It was funny and exciting moments to look around the small streets in the middle of old Paris. Metro was 3 minutes walk from hotel and easy to access any other places in Paris. I will hope to revisit soon.
Luxury hotels in Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Pres - Luxembourg

We stayed at L'hotel on the recommendation of a friend because our usual spot was under construction. I loved everything about this place: the building, the room, the location (on a quiet street in the 6th) and the service, which was impeccable. Often "boutique" hotels are charming but a little loosely run. Not so here. It is our new favorite place to stay in Paris.

My husband and I stayed at Relais Christine for our last two nights in Paris. We were regretful it wasn't longer. This is truly luxury! The grounds/garden are beautiful, and the hotel itself is decorated tastefully, while still being very Parisienne! Our room was a little on the small side. But we weren't in there that much. The St. Germain area is a great part of Pa...
