Cavite Province hotels & places to stay

I booked two superior rooms for a party of four. Prior to checking in at the hotel, I corresponded with the hotel per E-mail to find out whether the supeior rooms had a view of Taal lake. I quickly got a response from Asst. Vice President for Marketing, who graciously answered all my queries. Though the superior rooms only had garden views, offered me an upgrade to a premiere room, which had a Taal lake view, for a nominal fee. I decided, however, to stick to my original booking. Nevertheless, Ms. Fong instructed her staff to block the best superior rooms for my arrival. I checked in late at the hotel, way past the usual 2 p.m. check in time. who was at the front desk at that time, apologized that, despite my late arrival, my rooms were not yet ready for occupancy. To make up for this, immediately ugraded my party to a premiere room. The room with a view !! What more could I ask for. The premiere room, which was located at the east wing of the hotel, was large and had a balcony with a breathtaking view of Taal lake. Complimentary coffee and tea were also offered in the room. For those who can't do without their laptops, the wi-fi signal in the room was strong. The only setback was that the pool was a bit of a way. One had to walk all the way to the west wing where the pool was located. The west wing was also where the superior rooms were located. The evening buffet at the "Café on the Ridge", the hotel restaurant, had a good selection. However, I think the desserts could have been better. All in all a great experience. I'd do it again.

Booked a 1-br suite, traveled with friends. Prior to our visit, Reservations office was very accommodating to booking requests. Had some problems with my booking dates and they've handled it well. The free shuttle car is very convenient. I'm guessing that the hotel is supposed to be a condominium/apartment building converted. Reception area is small, but the suite is big. The kitchen is well equipped: microwave oven, stove range, pots, pans, knife, rice cooker, fridge - called them a day before and everything was there when we arrived. We all had fun cooking our food. Dining area was also complete with utensils. A convenience store with reasonable prices is available inside the resort. The bedroom is spacious with a comfy queen bed. Bathroom has a bathtub with shower overhead, hot water is not consistent though. Living area has this sofa with pull-out bed, we just had to ask for the sheets. The view was very relaxing with all the trees and overlooking mountain. No view of Taal lake however. Didn't have the chance to try the pool as it was under maintenance. Complimentary breakfast is only for two, but haven't tried since we cooked our own. The resort is really nice. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely come back.

Tagaytay has always been an 'out of town' weekend trip and have stayed in numerous hotels in the city. Hotel Monticello has got to be one of the better ones I've stayed in. Nice location. It's near the casino, Sky Ranch and just a few kilometers ride into Twin Lakes, Batangas and Cavite. The hotel room we've booked was a bit pricey but definitely worth all the penny. Spacious rooms, nice view and even had a nice breakfast buffet selection. Needs improvement on the facilities like the gym and some other recreational activities but nonetheless a superb hotel! Nice place to book for families and couples looking for a out of town trip.

Tagaytay Wingate Manor is clearly in a class of its own. Other hotels don’t have top notch-hotel quality pillow top mattresses (only 4-5 star hotels have these types of mattresses), branded LCD TV that can hook-up a media player, soft and fragrant pillows and duvet covers, hotel staff that is quick to respond to your requests, and most of all sound-proofed rooms that you will literally not hear anything from the outside which is one of the many reasons why I got the quality sleep that I needed. I was lucky enough to upgrade to a complete package which includes overnight accommodation, breakfast, massages, and shabu-shabu dinner. The massage that I and my girl-friend had was so good that we forgot it was part of the package. We thought that we still had to pay something like Php800-Php1000 since the quality is something that you would normally get if you pay for it separately. The shabu-shabu dinner is very authentic! I could say so because of the sauce they are using are the ones used in authentic shabu-shabu restaurants in Malate. People who say differently do not know what good shabu-shabu tastes like. This is the real McCoy. The WIFI signal couldn’t reach our rooms because, as I stated earlier, of the good sound-proofing. It was tolerable since I only had to make a few steps to the round table on the 2nd floor balcony just outside my room where I could enjoy the cool breeze and the amazing Tagaytay night sky. I guess the good stuff overwhelmed the very few negative points (that to me are really nonexistent). It’s the perfect Tagaytay getaway! It’s a jewel tuck in a strategic location where you are free from smoke and noisy trucks, cars, and what not. The price is not cheap nor expensive but REASONABLE.

The title says it all! We were offered a complimentary wine and banana muffin upon our arrival. Booked their Sky King Suite as it offers the best view of Taal Lake being situated at the highest floor. The room is very spacious, spic and span as well as their bathroom. Be prepared to be visited by insects during the night though since the place is surrounded by beautiful greenery. Just bring insect spray during the day and spray the little spaces in the glass and wooden doors to keep them away during the night.. The place is very near to Robinsons Supermarket, just across the street, Sky Ranch, Josephine's and other famous Tagaytay spots. The glass walls at the balcony needs some loving though. But overall it was one of the best Bed and Breakfast hotel you can find in Tagaytay. Would love to come again.

Rates are competitive and really value for money. Staff are courteous and friendly. All our requests were attended to within a reasonable period. Likewise, the breakfast buffet is much more extensive and better than a number of five (5) star hotels in greater Metro Manila, more specifically in the Alabang area. Would certainly return to this hotel whenever i get the chance to go back to the Tagaytay, Cavite area

Everything about Chateau Royale is exceptional. I would love to come back here again. We celebrated New Year’s eve and my birthday at the hotel/resort. it was one of the most memorable celebrations we had. The place is soooo HUGE! and they have complete amenities/facilities inside name it! Considering the price here in agoda, believe me that it was so cheap! For a worth 10,500 family cabin room we only had it for 3500 per room. Chateau Royale is the best ❤️ Beyond words.

We attended a wedding in Caleruega and Splendido is just 20mins drive away. We booked a Mountain View Double Room. The room is big enough with a study and 2 Queen beds. Initially we noticed a flying mosquito so we called for the concierge. They asked if they can spray an insecticide but we were in the room. So the housekeeping came back asking if we would like to move to another room. So we did and it seems the room we were transferred to is an upgrade. We're thankful for the accommodation they made. Breakfast is plated but the serving is huge! Garlic Rice with scrambled eggs (that looks like 2pcs of eggs), 3pcs of Longganisa and half Daing na bangus! 6 slices of watermelon for dessert and they also served vegetable salad which we declined coz we felt the food we have is so much. Plus you can get cereals and bread with peanut butter anytime. Coffee and juice is also refillable. We felt guilty for not being able to finish everything on our plate. How I wish they just put the food in the buffet set up so we can control the food that we take. Nonetheless we're very much satisfied with our stay. Most of the hotel staff were courteous and always smiling. We also tried their restaurant. They have pastas but most of the Entrees were Filipino dishes. The serving size is good for 2-3 persons and the rate is just okay. We had 3 dishes (pork sisig, crispy tawilis and chicken wings with bagoong) with 2 rice and Pumpkin Soup split into 2. We paid Php600++. Parking is Free! All in all, we had an amazing stay.👍

I booked Domicillo Design Hotel from friends recommendation. The location is perfect for honeymooners, backpackers or for people simply wants to get away from the city. The hotel vicinity is very clean. I find the Western food that served in their resto are overrated. We booked 3days 2nights and the whole stay couldn't provide proper wifi. Staff keep on saying that the router is getting fix but still no progress. Aside for that, our whole stay was great.

My stay at Summit Ridge Hotel was unforgettable. I will surely get back to this hotel in my future stay in Tagaytay. close to the latest theme park attraction The Sky Ranch, and close to the promenade where you can shop, eat/dine and chill. I love the location of this hotel, no wonder it is a 4-Star Hotel, next to Taal Vista Hotel. The staff and her supervisor understands my problem/situation that I booked the wrong date due to my excitement to this hotel.. They fix my stay and accommodated us using the same rate applied to the one I booked. Thanks so much guys! Cool! More power to this Hotel! :-***

Cannot express how happy I was with the place. We booked the Stillness Luxe room (with a bathtub!) and the place did not disappoint. The room's dim and cool, which is perfect if your goal in Tagaytay is to get some R&R. The staff are nice and helpful too, and the food's delicious. Would definitely come back and would rec to anyone who wants to have the best time in Tagaytay.

The view is nice. Food is good. Staff is amazing and location is BEST! We had our time with their SWEETEST SUITE for our honeymoon. Just one thing to be noted, their metal railings are rusty and cranky but this was not a deal breaker for us. However, it was a bad sight to see especially for the modern design. But definitely a win place for me and my wife. Will come back again soon!

I will rate it 8/10. honestly, before I booked here, I have doubts because of the past negative rviews here. But now, I am writing here to say that this place is not really bad. Seems that the past reviews was exaggerated. I loved the place especially the staff here. They are very accommodating and nice. They cater all our request even setting up a very long extenstion cord just for us to be able to power our electric grill in the rooftop as we planned to have bbq grill for dinner on the roof top while enjoying the view from Taal and the cold wind. The room and other facilities is well cleaned. We had a nice view room and aircon,shower and heater, LCD TV is all working properly. The only cons is the water pressure but its bearable. Overall, the place is very good unless you are expecting a five star hotel facilities. Then this is not the place for you. This place is for people who just want to have a peace and relaxing place to stay and enjoy the scenary in Tagaytay.

Pros: - Excellent staff! Very pleasant and courteous. Checking in/out was a breeze! - Super fast wifi - Full equipped kitchen (bowls, plates, water goblets, cups, saucers, knife set, cooking utensils, 4 burner stove & oven, fridge, rice cooker, microwave, kettle & exhaust!) - Place is very secured - Really quiet and peaceful place. The location is great, too! It's just along the highway, about 2-3 mins drive to Ayala mall. - Beds and pillows are of hotel quality. I also love how you get extra pillows! - Room service is cheap! You can also have food delivered which is awesome. - Strong water pressure - Lots of parking space - Huge closet space although we didn't get to use it since we only got to stay overnight since they were fully-booked the next day. Cons: - The gate for checking in/out is different so we had to back-up (road is a bit steep and it's hard to go back to the main street because of the busy traffic). It's best to put a sign outside.

We stayed during the Valentine 2019 weekend (Thursday to Sunday). Our room was described as "lakeview" (Deluxe 2, 2nd floor), and indeed it was but only partially as there were trees that blocked the part of the lake with Taal volcano. The location is convenient in terms of having an unlimited Korean restaurant in the same hotel, a McDonald's in the adjacent lot, and a 7/11 across the McDonald's. Ihawan Republic restaurant is also within walking distance (they have great food). Two things caught my attention the most. First was the cleanliness. I'm practically a diagnostic tool for aircon dust (I ALWAYS sneeze in a room with dirty aircon). Our room never made me sneeze at all! I also walked around barefoot and my feet didn't become dirty (they provided bedroom slippers which I did not wear initially). Second was the very efficient housekeeping team. There were four of them and they made-up our room in about 5 minutes. Overall, I would book this hotel again if there was a promo.

I decided to celebrate my fiance and I's 2nd anniversary here and it was the best anniversary experience. The place is so relaxing and the staffs are so accomodating. The entire glamping experience was fantastic! The tent is clean, bed is cosy, and the weather is cool. We have availed the Romantic Dinner with 5 course meal and the experience is more than what we have expected. Our server is Victor and he served us the best meals we had for the day; plus took great photos to document the night. Haven't tried the spa yet. Day two is more on activities. Had a quick breakfast to join the first batch garden tour but didn't make it due to constricted time. We joined the 2nd bareviews the place is where youtch tour and Elmer, the farmer-guide-teacher will teach you every plant/crops they have in their garden. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway. Giving 6/5 to all critera. Will definitely go back again, maybe with family. But will try the Farmacy for a different glamping experience.

Eco hotel is a compact and eco-friendly made hotel - this is the concept, and i don't see why other reviewers fault them for that very concept. the best thing i liked about this hotel is the modern eco architecture, design and rooms. the rooftop and lake view rooms offer a great view of the lake since they are located at the ridge (we stayed at room#12 on the second floor which is a lakeview room). second best think i liked is the convenient location - restaurants on both of it's sides; Pamana restaurant on one side (for average to high budget) and Bradley's bulalo on the other side (average to low budget). in front of them is Ayala Serin (there's more restaurants and grocery store where you can get more than the essentials). since they do not serve breakfast (only basic bread, jam and coffee), may i suggest to do food shopping the night before at Ayala mall (they have boulangeries there like the french baker where you can get nice selection of breads) and some fruit, milk, cheese and juice at the grocery - the food will keep in the room since it's pretty chilly in Tagaytay. Ecohotel has a toaster in their breakfast nook for heating, and they provide utensils, plates and glasses (even for your wine! so you can bring in wine too) for dining. there is also a h/c drinking water dispenser. I ordered coffee - Php80; it was a great barako blend and machine pressed (you can choose mild/standard/strong) but we also had the "complimentary" coffee the next day in the morning (served 7-10am) - it was very watery - I do not know if the staff just does not know how to work the machine or used leftover coffee beans from the day before / or if that's really intended. along with a non-working soap dispenser at the shower, that's the only minor things we can fault about our stay. but overall, a cool and amazing hotel which we are happy to recommend and stay at again for sure!

Joaquin's Bed & Breakfast may be a bit pricey but I booked the hotel because of the good reviews I've been reading. The place did not disappoint--I love the view (but I would've enjoyed it more if I booked a garden room; need to shell out compared to a balcony room). The free breakfast was filling and well-prepared and the room was big and clean. I also love the bathroom with its complete set of towels and toiletries. The dining area was cozy, it's just too bad we didn't get a chance to dine here except for breakfast. Would have wanted to try their fares but my hubby and I chose to venture at the chain of restos just a short distance away. Best of all, the staff was courteous and extremely helpful. Along the way, we had some transportation problems (no available van at Starmall) then standing in line at Pasay Rotonda for more than an hour while waiting for the bus to arrive (commuters, take note :)). After looking for alternative rides and moving here and there, I decided to call the hotel and they offered us advice on which buses to take and where the terminals are. Good thing we were able to ride a van from Buendia-Taft. Nevertheless, their customer service called us thrice to give directions which we truly appreciate. Thanks Joaquin's! I will recommend this place to my friends as well.

We had a great stay here. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for those who just want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. At first we opt for a 1 night stay only but because we enjoyed everything here, we decided to extend our stay, in another room since the 1st room was booked already on the 2nd night. The 1st room that we got was a non -airconditioning room but mind u, though it was summer, its cold. a fan is enough. The 2nd room is an airconconditioned room and is located at the 2nd floor. You'll just need te aircon at daytime since it is a container room but at night time, you'd be better off with fan coz its really feet freezing cold. We loved the view especially at the rooftop. Good thing there is no event happening during our stay so we have dwelled in serenity. All of the staff are assistive and accomodating. The owner is nice, approachable and very down to earth. place is simple yet cozy. You'll just need a vehicle for accessibility since it is quite far from the national road. Overall, it is a perfect place to wind down from stress. Try it for yourself!

Called the hotel to book and they said it could be reserved using Agoda with a card. Well the rate was much less than the hotel quoted and it had to be one of the biggest rooms I have stayed in. The Jacuzzi outside was amazing and the breakfast in the morning was served like a 5 star restaurant. Location is right where you want to be. Many restaurants on site for dinner and lunch as well. Staff was great.

Location is very convenient as it is beside the Robinsons, near Sky Ranch and restaurants. Staffs are accommodating. Room is nice, actually the bed frame brought it. Space is just enough. Breakfast size is very generous, like in the 5 star hotels in Manila. Our children enjoyed the fresh cold breeze of Tagaytay when they go outside the room. The view is a garden that you will feel you are in thr province. The only thing I noticed in our last day when I was looking for our children toys is our bed support is broken. Maybe that is why whenever we move, there is a crack sound. Good thing, we did not fell. Overall I am considering to go back to The Carmelence. ☺

when you feel like you had enough of city and crowd... this is the place where you should be. Their roof top dining is great. its worth what you pay for the foods! if you are up to drinking with your friends.. their happy hour is the best for you.. cheap and very nice pulutan. :) kids are welcome as well, as they have a little playground at the rooftop and tents for rent. All these including their very friendly staff! we asked if they have a piece of cake for our friend whose having his birthday. sadly he wasn't feeling well that morning so he decided to stay in his room and we went for our free breakfast, so NO.. they don't have any cake. BUT! the chef made a special 2 layer pancake with chocolate syrup for our friend! thank you so much Chef! they even gave a small bowl of Congee for our 1 year old princess niece! the rooms are nice and clean, you got the basic needs. Hotel is also close to EVERYWHERE! :) Good job guys. more power! cheers!

Villa Ibarra Hotel is strategically located at the heart of Tagaytay. Its strategic location is very convenient for those travelers in its nearby cities and provinces. It is suggested for those tourists and travelers who would like to explore the bests of the city. It is near from malls, supermarkets, restaurants, parks, public market, and of course, the overview of Taal volcano. Aside from attractive places in the city, Villa Ibarra offers a world class customer service. The hotel staffs would make feel comfortable and at ease throughout the stay in the hotel. They give warm welcome to the guests. We really experienced the feeling of being important as one of their guests. The staffs are available at any time you need them. We also experienced a great morning by having a delicious breakfast served with a smile by the staff and an attractive view of Taal volcano in front of us. Thus, staying in Villa Ibarra is a great and memorable experience that we will cherish in our hearts.

This time we looked for a place away from the main highway so we can get away with the human and car traffic, and I guess we just hit the jackpot. This place is the best place to be- not far from restaurants, parallel to skyranch (you can actually see the ferris wheel from the balcony), just a ride away from the places you want to be, near mahogany market for the freshest harvest, and of course, Tagaytay's bulalo. And location is just the icing. We were welcomed by the best staff who assisted us and let us check in quite early because we came in at around 9am. And when we got into our room, we were greeted by the sweetest clean smell. it's as if you're in a 5-star hotel. And the linens? Best linens I have to say. Though you need to be extra careful not to soil the linens because they might have to charge you. The restaurant downstairs offers a number of choices for your free breakfast. They also have the best crew who caters to our requests which sometimes are not in their menu. They have karaoke for wednesdays and thursdays, and live bands on fridays and saturdays. But since it we were there during the Holy Week, they showed Christian films instead. Overall, it was one of the best places we've been too, if not the best. Miss Anne, was the most accommodating. :) Thank you.

With all the negative reviews I have read about the hotel here on tripadvsior, I almost thought of not choosing this hotel. But since there are still some good reviews, I decided to give it a try. And contrary to what others are saying about the hotel, its more than what i expected. Yes, I think the hotel needs a little upgrade and renovation on the entire property, but even so, the hotel is okay and still a good choice especially if you are always out. Days Hotel’s plus factors are its location, view, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable stay, swimming pool, parking area, great services - all for an affordable price. Our room even had a balcony where you can stay while enjoying a great view and nice conversation esp at night. Booked a superior room via Agoda with free breakfast. But the breakfast of the hotel is a Set Breakfast only. They say, they only serve a buffet when they have many bookings. Fortunately, they have many guests as today is a holiday and so we experienced their buffet. Honestly, this is their down side, their restaurant. The food selections are very few. This is where we got a bit disappointed. Steamed and garlic rice plus longganisa, tuyo, adobo and ampalaya were only the food on the buffet with an Egg station. Plus, they have only wheat and ordinary bread with 1 Jam and Butter. Whether Set or Buffet, might as well not avail it anymore. And opt for a great breakfast outside instead. For the wifi, it is fast but is only available on the lobby for free. Over-all, if you are looking for a secured parking on a great location, with spacious and comfortable rooms plus a swimming pool, then the hotel is recommended for an affordable price - minus the breakfast. :)
