Dolphin Beach was the first stop on our 10 day tour of Sri Lanka and we spent 4 amazing nights here. The rooms were beautiful with some great quirky features - only complain I would have is that you cannot lock the tents. With few improvements in room facilities and meals the hotel would be a best in Kalpitiya. Staff is so kind and helpful especially the owner and Sanath (good helper) and the two ladies who are doing room service as well as kitchen work. Overall value for money with relaxing experience.

The staff was the best I had experienced in a month in Sri Lanka-- very helpful, friendly and also highly professional, attentive to detail, and creating an atmosphere of respect and peace, which allowed me to enjoy the quiet of being in nature. ...

Overall we were very happy with our stay at St Annes Lagoon House but there was some issues. Our room was fantastic. Lovely bed, outdoor bathroom and lounge room. The room condition is fare and the hotel owner is really nice as well as helpful. The hotel is really quiets and have a lovely dog. But it's located in the jungle and it's hard to buy anything nearby so I recommend to buy all the things in Puttalam. Kalpitiya is a totally different area compare to Bentota. I would like to go there again

it was a very nice place. Very friendly helpful nice people running the place. If like it relaxed and natural you will like it. The food was delicious. the beach is beautiful surrounded by a lagune. unfortunately the beaches a filled with a lot of rubbish. I was diving there. very nice. i will come back.

Location is really chilled and the bar/ restaurant area is a great place to hang out after a hard day of activities. They have a new chef and the food is delicious (especially the cuttle fish). Staff are super friendly and flexible at this hotel. Recommend bringing a plug in mosquito repellent even with the net.

This was the most amazing place I stayed in Sri Lanka and one of the best places I've stayed in all of my travels. Its rustic - limited electricity from a generator and solar lights, no ac, open air showers and cabanas. Its perfect to get away from everything and just relax. If you are a kitesurfer then you know the location already but as someone who does not kitesurf...

The chalet and other bungalows are perfect and spacious. The room has nice comfy bed and we even had hot shower:-). The space is spacious too, it has gardens and hammock and balcony. I think the best about Margarita is the friendly owner and helpful staff.

Bedrock Bungalows is awesome! The views from the rooms are unique and beautiful. On one side you have sand dunes and on the other you're looking across the water. Some of the rooms have jacuzzis and all the showers are big and modern. The food was out of this world! A feast just for one person. Beautifully cooked and put together and served with a smile from a lovely w...

There are just 3 tents which are definitely for 'glamping'. This is not roughing it in any sense of the word. There is not much to do here except for a few trips out in a boat and a more substantial, but unmissable, trip to see the dolphins. You can walk from the tents to the village a couple of km away.... if you can be bothered. This is a place to chill. The food...

Had a 3 night stay here on the way to Jaffna. Lovely position on Lagoon side, beautiful sunsets. Good stopping point for transit or to visit wildlife, culture or just enjoy quiet time.
