convenient location at an attractive price”

The Relexa Stuttgarter Hof Hotel is within walking distance of Potsdamer Platz, Unter den Linden, and Checkpoint Charlie (among other attractions). Public transportation is easy to access. The hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers and evidently specializes in events of different sorts. Our standard room was more than comfortable - good size, safety-deposit box, complimentary coffee and tea (as well as sparkling water), small mini-bar, great bathroom amenities, nice bathrobes, and flat-screen TV with international programming. We looked forward to repeating this property because of the excellent staff who are fully fluent in English and always seeking with courtesy and efficiency to make guests feel welcome. Very specially, we were favorably impressed that our room with early check-in was waiting for us when we arrived. We definitely wish to go back yet again!

Amazing hotel, great location!”

Our stay at Relexa was short (2 nights) but perfect. The staff was great, very helpful and prompt. We arrived on friday at 1 AM and they checked us in in like 2 minutes. The bar was also open and the beer was cold :) I reccomend it for the location, it is walking distance from Potsdamer Platz and Brandemburg Gate. The room was very modern and clean, a great value for money and it is situated walking distance from Sbahn(2 minutes) and you can get anywhere very fast. The trip from Schoenfeld airport to Relexa took about 50 minutes. Also it has a park in front and if you cross it, you will get to Checkpoint Charlie and Topography of Terror in 3 minutes. We couldn't have hoped for anything better, really. Reccomend it with all my heart. The hotel made out stay in Berlin perfect, even though it was brief. Thank you :)

I have used this hotel about 3 times in the past, and I was eager to return. It is a full-service hotel that specializes in events and caters to both business and leisure travelers. It is within easy walking distance (under 10 minutes) of Gropius Bau, Potsdamer Platz, and Mall of Berlin. Other attractions are also accessible on foot or very conveniently through a network of public bus and rail connections available at Anhalter Strasse. My standard room had a great closet with safety-deposit box and nice bath-robe. I enjoyed complimentary coffee and tea. Room and bathroom dimensions were truly convenient. The flat-screen TV offered a complete selection of channels. The complimentary sparkling water was refreshing and delicious. The bed and pillows were great. The hotel has an indoor smoking area. I arrived early from a long journey, and my room was ready and available! Staff members were fluent in English, and all of them had an attitude of friendly service. Great stay!

very good option near Potsdamer Platz”

We made an excellent choice! This big hotel with very professional staff caters equally to business and leisure travelers. The hotel has facilities for large and small events, and it enjoys a pretty good location near Potsdamer Platz. When we made our booking, we requested early check-in into a smoking room - and our wishes were fulfilled with extreme courtesy. Our standard room was very comfortable because it was spacious. The room featured adequate storage areas with safety-deposit box, refrigerated mini-bar, and flat-screen TV. The shower and tub were very nice. We also appreciated the bathroom amenities (including robes) and complimentary coffee and tea. Our only suggestion for enhancement would be to replace the carpeting in the room in which we stayed because it showed some signs of age. We were very satisfied overall and for sure will consider this property again when we return to Berlin!

For such a central location the Relexa is great value for money. It’s a lovely hotel with very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast to boot!

Location is perfect”

If you're in Berlin only for a couple of days this hotel is perfect. Walking distance to many attractions. A bunch of restaurants just around the corner. A clean hotel with really nice staff. Also the hotel restaurant was good. If you're in the city to party, this might not be the best choise. We had the window facing the backyard and we heard nothing during the nights.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. They assist all your inquiries. The hotel is clean and bed is really comfortable. S bahn station is just 2 minutes walk and walking distance to Potsdamer Platz and Mall of Berlin.

It's really good hotel for two and more night stands. Fitnes and sauna in the hotel. Everything was clean. Nice and friendly stuff. Location is good, don't have to use public transportation to get into city center. Reccommended

Great City Hotel”

The hotel was close to most of the attractions on a street with several other hotels, it was clean, comfortable and a good price for Berlin. Room did get very hot though

Exceptional”

Really nice accommodation. Quality furnishings, comfortable beds, great location. We got our booking on a rate sale, so for the price it was excellent. We didn't spend time in the restaurant or communal areas so can't really comment on those. Everything else was super. Except for the lack of airconditioning. The room got quite hot and stuffy but without aircon we had to open the window, which made it very noisy.

Exceptional”

Everything about the hotel was excellent except for the restaurant. They could not cater for my son with a peanut allergy and had no suggestions other than chips and a plain salad. It was not appetizing at all and therefore my son did not eat it. It was late in the evening, he was hungry and we did not want to go out walking again having done so all day. My salmon and black risotto was very poor. The waitress saw that we had left both meals yet still charged us. The food was expensive and barely edible. Very disappointed that the chef could not even offer to cook my son fresh food from other ingredients. Hardly difficult to come up with a basic pasta and meat sauce, for example. Would definitely not eat there again.

the hotel is very near to every important sight and close to the subway station. the staff is polite and courteous. rooms are very clean, spacious and equipped with a tv, free Wifi and everything you want. I would always book here again

Berlin hotels suck”

Not sure if this is the norm for Berlin (seems like it is) but I thought this was way overpriced for the value provided. The moment I got to my floor (5th floor) I could feel the thick, hot air like I was in an oven. This was the middle of summer months, but I couldn't believe not only did this 5-story hotel not have any central air conditioning in their corridors, but neither any climate control in any of the rooms either. Suffice it to say, it was unbearably hot during the day, the windows were a royal pain in the a** to keep open and *try* to get any breeze, but at least on the second day when I asked they brought me a fan. Service was mediocre. Wifi was mediocre, and they asked something like an extra 5 Euros a day for it (which always peeves me off - if I'm already paying $95 USD a night for a room why can't you just include wifi??) I don't think I even got any complimentary water if I remember… Cool area near Checkpoint Charlie - there's a good Starbucks nearby, and in the daytime some museums and street food areas that are pretty good. But little to nothing in the way of nightlife or late night restaurants unfortunately, so not really the heart of the energy for anyone on a short visit. It was alright, and I imagine most hotels during the summer in Berlin are probably overpriced, but I didn't think it was really worth the $500 or so I paid for a few nights…

large and clean rooms”

rooms were pretty roomy and clean. I got a nice deal where they upgraded me to a higher level with a view of the park across the street. the location wasn't bad you can walk around and night and not had to worry much. though food took a bit of walking but still not bad. overall i'll recommend this hotel.

Fabulous hotel for the money... I didn't see A/C, but i was able to open the windows to let cool air in for the evening, which worked great for me. No complaint - Just a wonderful experience. ... And wonderful front-desk & wait staff. :-)

Very comfortable hotel with great staff”

The hotel is very well placed and such a nice staff creates warm home atmosphere. Breakfasts are really hearty, good and tasty. Unusually kind personel, from reception through restaurant to the night bar!

Great value for money”

The hotel is very clean with nice design. Room and bathroom spacious, towels changed every day. Near to public transport stations and only 10 mins walk to Potsdamer Platz. The breakfast is a bit overpriced, but there are several cafes nearby.

Everything was perfect, especially the staff was very nice. We really enjoyed staying there. The only bad thing was the coffee but hotel still deserves maximum rating from me.

Far from interesting things in Berlin”

The staff during checkin was borderline rude. Not accommodating at all. The hotel is clean but so far from the train station. If I go back to Berlin, this hotel would not be something that I would consider again.
