Right by the ocean and nice little restaurants in walking distance. We could see a little bit of the ocean from our room :) very nice stuff, rooms could be more updated but I guess it was right for the price.

Very comfortable ”
The rooms were very large and comfortable. The front desk guy was peculiar but in a good way. There are homeless folk across the street but they keep to themselves and frankly there are homeless all over the city. You can hear the beach from your room! Just bring in all your valuables and you’ll be fine. The mini fridge is hidden! And is a very nice size.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February 2020. Comfortable ground floor room with ample parking right in front of the room. Would stay here again in my next trip up to SFO.

Location”
The location is really great but BEWARE when you park on the side street in front fof the hotel because my car window got smashed and I lost 1 bag and 1 luggage. Do not leave anything valuable inside your car!

The location is really nice But”
The location is really nice because it is right next to the beach and Golden Gate Park. However, it is somewhat inconvenient to go downtown by public transportation. I think the hotel building is too old. It's uncomfortable to have homeless people screaming at night around.

Disappointed ”
This location is amazing for someone looking to stay across the street from the beach. The room was dirty. There were holes in the walls. The carpet was dingy and sticky. No heater or AC. The pictures are very outdated!

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy ”
this place is like a horror movie. There are shady people all over, the room was dirty and smelled like cat pee. One of the cars in the lot had a smashed windshield. There were people throwing firecrackers off the balcony non stop. We were not comfortable staying in this place at all! Not sure how they got some decent reviews. Maybe they had the people that live there review them in exchange for a place to stay. We literally stayed for 20 minutes and left. Those 20 minutes were spent looking for another place to stay.

This is not hotel but shelter for homeless people. Hotel is terrible. Broken walls and tiles. All the pics on Agoda are fake! Very dirty and unhygienic hotel

Filthy, run-down motel by the beach”
At the time of this writing, the property has a very good review score on Agoda. This must be the work of bots. This building is ugly, old, and very poorly maintained. For example, in our two-room suite, one TV was missing and the other was broken. The beds were as hard as the floor. You must borrow a hairdryer from the front desk if you want one. The “ice machine” is a cooler with a bag of ice in the office. Said office has security glass and usually one employee watching TV while another serves the queue of guests. No privacy curtains on the windows so your room is either dark or everyone walking past gets to look inside. Showerhead was mounted at a height of five feet; the old tub had been resurfaced and the surface was coming off. Trash on the floors in common areas. The only nice thing about this hotel is that it faces the ocean with nothing in the way. But beware: If you are new to SF, you probably do not want to stay by the ocean: It is slow/costly to get to the city center.

This is a nice motel just across the road from the beach in a nice area convenient to many things. I was a solo traveler but the question above won't accept that . . .

A group of 4 persons, no elevator for this accommodation , we need to bring up & down big luggage. Breakfast just coffee/tea , pastry and apple. Room that we stay end of the corner in 3rd floor, a bit run down.

Location Location Location!”
Steps away from BOTH Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park, this motel is a great launching point for exploring San Francisco. It is not very modern with few facilities but at this extremely low price per night you can stay right in the city super close to most tourist attractions. Parking is awkward but there are enough spots for everyone. JY
