"I had someone opening my door, probably to steal something from my room. When I brought it to the staff's attention, nothing was done about. Imagine if it was a woman sleeping and someone rapping her? "

"5 of us rented 3 studio rooms. absolutely wonderful. cooked some lovely meals here. did not do hotel breakfast, made our own. coffee machine - great. near bus and trains. initially seems a long way out of town but actually very near to everything. on a sunday missed the last train (1.00 am) but still managed to get home with a bus. what to say....maybe.. movement sensitive lights in the passage ways left us in the dark and we had to do a sort of jump and wave arm thing to get the lights to come on again. all in all more than value for money"

"the hotel was difficult to find/reach from the closest metro station- 40 minute walk the first night with our luggage, as we kept stopping to ask for directions; in the morning though, it was a 20-minute walk. when we arrived at the hotel finally, the lady at the reception insisted that our guest, who had helped us find our way round paris and to the hotel, could not go up to our room. i have never before heard of a hotel telling its paying guests who they can or cannot bring to their hotel room. we explained that we were heading out with our guest once we settled into our room (not that we owed her an explanation), yet she proceeded to instruct us that she was permitting us to go up to our room with our guest for only 5 minutes. looking back now, it was funny, but i was so mad when we came back down and got a scolding for staying up for more than the 5 minutes she had permitted. given the distance from the metro station, getting a taxi at night in the area was quite a challenge. i'll suggest that anyone (ladies especially) on a budget, who plans to stay out till late, should consider an alternative. we had to hand in our key at the reception when we went out for the night. yet, they claim they are not liable for any loses in the rooms. what i found even more uncomfortable was that there was no paperwork to show/confirm who i was, whether or not i had checked in and when i check out. in the words of the lady at the reception, "just take your key when you come and drop it when you are checking out". the last straw was when during the night, there was a banging at our room door for us to open up. i was so afraid, but got up and hit the doors as well to scare whoever it was away. it seems it was just a prank, some people getting some pleasure from disrupting our sleep and making us afraid, but there was no way i was going to stay another night in this hotel. i simply decided to leave and find a hotel where i felt safer and more comfortable, in a more accessible ar"

"The location was poor. It's near to where the homeless were. Travellers with children highly suggest not to take this hotel as it is a very unsafe neighbourhood. Ubers had problem getting to the place as well. Average waiting time for Uber to arrive upon confirmation is 30 minutes."

"Defintley not a worth it stay, rooms are good, but it’s defintley not a 4 star hotel, more of do it yourself serviced apartment, mediocre breakfast , not worth the price being paid. Room and Staff are good, that’s for sure, but for almost no services provided it’s too expensive and it’s way too appalling to be called 4 star. "
