Awesome Hotel”
The hotel's industrial design seems very nice and modern. It is anything else but traditional Thai, with interesting pieces of deco, like stuffed buck heads (not for everyone, though, I guess). Our Deluxe Room was amazing. It was simply huge, considering it has enough place to accomodate a king size bed and a double bed inside. The linings and the pillows are spottless and heavenly soft and confortable and the bed as well. Bathroom is pretty big for a hotel room, as well as more than enough storage space and two huge mirrors. Everything in the room and in the rest of the hotel is very clean so you don't have to worry about this aspect. The breakfast was amazing: a lot of options to choose from and not get bored in more than a week and very tasty in the same time. It includes an egg bar. We stayed in the upper building but we didn't mind at all and didn't use their pool either. Will definitely want to stay there again, should we return to Ao Nang.

Exceptional ”
The hotel is in the middle of everything- within walking distance to the beach, local eateries and high end boutique restaurants left and right, convenience stores and shops at every corner. Take note that the hotel is actually on a cliff so if you’re staying at building 2 like we were, it’s a bit of a hike. The facilities were amazing. The room was clean and spacious with a stunning view. There was also a free mini bar with 2 water, 2 pop, 1 juice and a snack. Take note that they will not refill this unless everything is consumed (at least that’s what happened in our case) so consume everything in a day if you want it refilled the next day. Refilling is done once a day. Staff was friendly, very informative and helpful. My friend lost her bag in the van that we hired to get there and even though our efforts were left in vain, we highly appreciate the staff with their assistance. Just note that Krabi itself is five times overpriced compared to Bangkok. Very touristy prices.

Awesome service!”
After having travelled to many other islands this hotel was heaven! Being Canadian we are used to a certain life style and comfort this hotel provided just that. Sugar Marina has the same feel, comfort, cleanliness and service as a Sheraton in Toronto would have. Check in was awesome, great staff and quick service. The room itself was very modern, clean and comfortable. The washroom to the shower was very nice and clean. The morning breakfast could've had more American breakfast options such as potatoes or beans. It was mainly meaty foods making it hard for myself as a vegetarian. Other than that very clean and modern looking. The overall appeal of this hotel felt like home, especially after travelling so much this hotel was the cheapest but yet the best! Location is great, within 10 min walk you can get to the main area of the beach and longboat taxis are across the street as well.

Clean, quiet hotel”
Just stayed here for 6 nights on a scuba diving trip. I chose this particular hotel because it it close to the dive shop I was using. It is located very close to the bars, restaurants and spas of Ao Nang and about a 10 minute walk from the beach. Very convenient. I stayed in an upgraded room in the Cliffhanger building which had a balcony with nice views of the water and local mountains. The building is fairly new and the housekeeping staff did a great job every day. The bed was large and comfortable. Rooms were very quiet which is important to me. The pool was clean and well maintained. The staff were very attentive to my requests . I did not eat at the hotel so I don't have an opinion on that. My only observation is that they don't have a lot of TV channels in English. It wasn't a problem for me but some people may not like it. I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Hospitality”
Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by tge front/reception office. We were also served with a welcome drinks that soothed our thirst due to hot weather. We were then ushered to our rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and have a superb view of the cliff. We were also provided with complimentary snacks and soft drinks everyday which I think that was so generous of the hotel. The breakfast offered so much varieties and i love the egg section very much indeed. I just hope that the management could kindly provide facilities for the disabled/wheelchair guests such as ramp to and fro the room and the cafe. This will be a great help for them. Thank you Sugar Marina for the wonderful stay and I would be gladly recommend others to stay here.

Worth it”
Pros- Hotel got 2 bldgs and we got the 1st bldg which is just at e roadside..along Muslim St so there are many halal food along and night Market.. There's grab too.. Recommended to go dine at may and zin its near holiday Inn.. E room is cute and clean and smell nice wen we entered.. There's 2 big bed and we combine it to become massive bed.. Shiok and comfy and I really sleep throughout.. Aircon is very cooling We booked pool access but got 2nd floor where u have to climb down e steps.. Cons- e main lobby at 2nd bldg which u have to climb up e slope or staircase.. If available they do provide van to bring u to 1st bldg wen u check in with all ur luggage.. Buffet not much varieties and its halal but somehow expensive 350 baht per pax.. Overall me n hub are satisfied with e resort!!

Exceptional Hotel ”
Very top notch hotel with a really nice staff team. Our room was very spacious, beds were comfortable and has all the amenities you need. They have two buildings, the one in the back has the lobby but requires you to climb up stairs/hill. Location was perfect for us, close to the mosque that has amazing food for very cheap & about 10min walk to Ao Nang Beach. Staff was really nice, they helped with any issues we had including calling lomprayah for me to confirm my bookings. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every night of it, highly recommend this hotel!

Great Staff, Good Location”
The hotel staffs is vy good, a lot of them look into details, customer orientated, always trying their best to serve. The hotel itself not fancy all facility is practical, most important is clean, things well maintain and look new. They have 2 pool and the pool at the downside may not have much sun cover so it is cool all the time. Location is quiet enough and walkable to beach but is a bit far for me. Opposite there is food court to enjoy local food and a lot of restaurant along the way, same goes to convenience store. I really enjoy my stay and i like the environment and service.

Affordable and comfy stay. The room is new and clean, very modern with a nice balcony. Its actually 2 building opposite each other both with its own common pool. Hot and cold shower with good pressure, soap and shampoo provided. Lobby has a small cafe serving food and drinks. Breakfast buffet is international, always with salad and egg cooking station. I only wish they served more local thai food but cant complain as its good enough. I enjoyed the pastries, especially the chocolate malt sauce on the side, could not get enuff of this. Overall nice place, difinitely coming back.

Booked the room that connects to the pool right outside the balcony. View is pretty much amazing. Hotel is minimalist and sophiscated. The pool is amazing as well. Room is clean. Just that the toilet, got choked a few times. Other than that, it is really good. This area is close to everything. The only con is, you need to travel up the steep hill from the bottom to the hotel. I am not sure if there are stairs. But yeah people with luggage have to go up by the hill.

Best Stay Ever!”
We booked a room with 2 queen beds and requested a cot.. the room is quite big. But after putting in the cot with my 2 big luggage the room got a lil squeezy. But we werent complaining. We really love it. Its well equipped with beach mat that we brought along for our Island Tour. And the umbrella was useful coz it rained almost everyday. Basically i didnt need to go reception for anything except when check out. Coz we were put in the other block which is nearer to the street. I am so thankful they gv us the perfect room! It was like we had a villa! The kids definitely enjoyed it the most. Breakfast choice was good. Overall the stay was great and value for money. We would like to stay here again if we come back to Krabi!!

The best hotel we had in 1 month in Thailand”
For real, this hotel has it all. Nice and friendly staff, good location, beautiful spacious rooms. The breakfast could be a bit better but as far as breakfasts we had in Thailand this one is still okay! Just to be sure. There are 2 swimming pools. One is north-faced so no sun. The other one south faced with amazing cliff views. We booked the deluxe room pool access room which is the other building near the cliff and oh boy what an experience. Sun all day, direct access to a 50m long swimming pool and good sunbeds and shade. We were here during covid so we had a private 50m long swimming pool :)! Thanks a lot for our last relaxing days of Thailand!

We really can’t thank the hotel enough for the amazing room upgrade for all of our rooms! The pool access rooms were superbly amazing, the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. They even have umbrellas, slippers and beach mat to prepare you in the rooms. We love the convenience of the area too! Can’t wait for our next trip back to Ao Nang!

Great location”
Great location if you are a muslim traveller with children. Halal food choices just round the corner. Place is superb clean and convenient. The beach is about 10 min to 15 min walk with kids from the hotel. My kids love it cause the pool is at our balcony. No bad review about this place. Will definitely come again.

Really Nice Stay”
I had a really good stay here. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are two buildings. I would recommend the one in the back with pool view which also has a great view of the cliffs. This building also has the longer pool, about 50 meters, which was great for lap swimming. The breakfast was good too with great variety and made to order eggs. The room was super nice with a good variety of channels. There are many options in the area but I but recommend this one if you are not interested in a beach front hotel.

One of the best hotels ever! ”
From great service to the facilities, everything was great with this hotel. But the best has to be the view (pls get the bedrooms with cliff view it's worth it!). The pool are is great and hardly overcrowded and the bedrooms are modern with Scandinavian design. Location is just perfect, quiet enough yet close enough to ao nang beach (10 min walk). I prefer building 2 which sits on top of a cliff and it's more modern. Downsides: gym is very small, internet can be very unstable and TV hardly has any channels. Overall I would totally recommend booking this hotel if you're in Krabi.

The hotel is quite new so the rooms are very nice and clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast were perfect, plenty of options to choose from. Location is also very good, hotel is surrounded by main activities, restaurants, bars, massages also the beach in a few minutes walking distance.

Since the moment we’ve arrived in this hotel, we enjoyed everything. We asked for a Mountain View room and weren’t disappointed. The view was gorgeous. The room was very clean and was maintained such every day of our stay. The hotel isn’t in the far proximity from the beach, the location is perfect. I have no complaints.

Sugar marinas location is perfect. It was a 10 min walk to beach and plenty of restaurants. 2 pools which were basically empty the whole time we stayed. Staff were all super friendly and the room was spotlessly cleaned. We LOVED it here!

Exceptional”
The help and service provided by the staff (Hunna , Sang, Nuna, Nok and Noi) in the hotel was amazing. It’s was my birthday and they had the room decorated with balloons. They celebrate it along with a cake and merry up the day. Something to improvise was their menu for breakfast. It’s was good but the option are limited and get bored on the subsequent days. Pool access rooms are the best if you love swimming. Overall it was a good experience, hope to visit again
