SunSea Resort amazes us up until now. First,the resort's employees are approachable and nice. Second,the resort is clean and well-equipped. It has heater. 😉 Lastly, the entire place gives us serenity.

Worth your money! Quality-wise!”
The only downside of the resort is the location since it is located in Nueva Valencia so it's quite distant to the wharf. However if you don't have a private car, they have an available resort van to fetch their guests. Other than that, all else are very satisfactory. They welcome their guests with drinks and the staff are very friendly, polite and approachable at any time. The room was neat, clean and very spacious. Facilities were also complete. They even have leisure activities available for the guests aside from the pool. If you intend to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation, this is the place for you. The resort is worth coming back! Overall experience was excellent! They deserve a 5 star rating!!!

Room was really spacious. 4 people can fit comfortably. Nice experience to have meals by the pool. Food was generally filling and affordable. Cellphone and wifi signal were quite a challenge though. If you want to escape the hustle of city life, this is a decent place to stay.

The fire alarm makes an annoying sound every so seconds. The receptionist didn't return to fix our complaint. Pool could be cleaner. Room is spacious. They give a free buko juice after your island hopping. Food tasted good.

This place needs more development. ”
Travel from the Jordan wharf is 1 hour one way. Have to commute via tricycle to spend less (500-one way, 1000-round-trip), make sure to get the number of the tricycle driver. They also have their own shuttle service. Though 850 is their minimum for one way. Once arrived, you'll be shocked to experience no-signal/weak signal all over the place, unless you're going near by their extension beach which has nice signal (quite ok). Pool is not too big. Beach location is a bit far from the building, needs to walk across the circumferential road(beach is not too swimmable, never tried). They have two separate lots, with road in between: main site (building w/ rooms, dining area, swimming pool, etc.); Extension site with undeveloped building, beach and dock (you can't see guests staying there, except if you'll do island hopping, etc). My family and I had a poor customer service experience from them, breakfast was set in 7am, had breakfast at almost to 8. Location for the resort is not good

Poor coordination among the staff.”
Booked for a room with 2 Double bed because we are pair couples but we found out that there's no such room, they offered us a 2 separate room with double bed, we paid additional 600+ pesos including the charge for booking online. Staffs are not well coordinated specially when we eat our dinner and breakfast. they took so long to serve the coffee and drinks. The thing that i like is the room is clean and the place is well maintained.

Nice clean fresh room and also a good size,nice warm water shower which is not always available in the Philippines. I booked a family room,I was a bit disappointed that it means only 1 bed and a sofa bed,my daughter is a tall girl. My perception of a family room is at least 2 double beds. Breakfast was good but 1 morning we seemed to be pushed to being served last although we arrived at the previously arranged time,that day breakfast was a disaster 50 minutes late,some of it cold,no drinks until we had finished our food. Swimming pool was green water and not very inviting,there were chlorine tablets on the floor of the pool (which is dangerous) and the pool was not flowing into the overflow channel and so not filtering and circulating properly the whole 6 days of our visit. The Jacuzzi spa didn't work and also green water. The location is a bit isolated for western tourists,no bars,restaurants etc. Boat trips around the nearby islands is highly recommended but you need to pre arrange.

Hotel was so remote that requires an hour or more of travel. The food serves in the hotel were so limited as most on the menus were not available. Staff seems not used to handle large numbers of costumers as they tend to be confused on the food being ordered in advance and the food actually being served to us and other customers. Swimming pool seems ok but not that cleaned. There was only 1 small swimming pool but considering the number of rooms the hotel could accommodate the pool will immediately be crowded.

deluxe room where we stayed is quite good cleanliness wise it's ok. The place is peaceful. Staff are all courteous and accommodating. what i did not like is the network signal especially globe. The hotel wifi connection is poor. The place is not that accessible to public transport. it's very far from the center but perfect location for island hopping which we enjoyed most.

The room was satisfactory but their service needs improvement. We’ve been traveling here and abroad and it’s the first time I’ve encountered that the hotel isn’t fully booked at all that doesn’t allow early check-in, and if you do,you need to pay extra. Considering that I’m with my senior citizen mum and kids. We just stayed at the poolside waiting in the heat for our room to be ready at exact 2pm. Where else you can find that you travel for almost an hour and reached your hotel hungry but food is served after 2hrs!!! And the receptionist is being moody and passing blames to other staff. What’s the purpose of advance order? To serve it on time right? Well, in this hotel, doesn’t happen at all and oh the hotel doesn’t accept card payments. If only I can cancel my reservation that day, I would gladly have done it. Btw, there’s no beach line as well. Not worth the price and effort. A waste of money and time. Not gonna recommend it to anyone.
