Fantastic spot”
It's been a while since there was a need to visit Auckland so I felt a bit out of the loop. Thankfully Movenpick came up as an option and we're so pleased we booked it. Great location and quality rooms. The staff were great and super helpful.

I stayed at the Movenpick with my sister for her birthday. Check in was easy, valet parking recommended, although not terribly visible where to pull in. The chocolate hour was good, a fork or spoon would have been ideal. Tv in room was very basic channels and hard to use. Other than that it was a great location, clean comfortable and I will likely stay again.

Location location location. Value for our money. We were offered an up grade on arrival with an Auckland harbour view 👍. Very spacious hotel room. We would definitely use again when back in Auckland.

We chose this hotel for a local getaway to celebrate my birthday. The draw card was the chocolate hour, free ice creams for the kids, sundae service & the breakfast buffet. The staff were excellent throughout the entire stay. From checking in, room service, chocolate hour & breakfast. Negatives were the noise from the street on a busy Saturday night, not the hotels fault, & finding a hard piece of plastic in the breakfast rhubarb. Would highly recommend staying here if money is no object.

Let me say that this is a lovely property which has been beautifully refurbished with the new branding. This could and should be, the best 4 star hotel in Auckland. The small details need focus and work. Most of the required changes require little or no money spent. Just an eye for detail that isn't there

Best part of the stay was the location. Ordered from the Sundae service and it took over an hour to arrive. The TV also wasn’t working and when we called to Reception they said it couldn’t be fixed until the day later (at which point we would be checking out) Great location though, however would book elsewhere when visiting Auckland again.

Lack personal touch, but love the shower”
1. Location is slightly off the map. 2. When I arrived by taxi, not a single staff from the hotel was present to at the front of the hotel to help me unload my stuffs from the car for me to check in smoothly. When checking in, I asked if there is any bell boy and there he was, standing next to the check in counter wandering off into this world. 3. Front desk staff is not helpful enough. 4. Rejected my Accorhotel card and said there is wi-fi already provided in the rooms. However, room and toilet is good

Really disappointed experience ”
The wifi cannot use room number to login in, after given an special login code, still very hard to connect and always disconnect every hour. Dont have the witch of lights near the bed, have to turn of all lights one by one. Reception provides different service time of breakfast.... To make a conclusion, this hotel is not bad but not worth this price at all.

Great Location”
Airport transfer is available, pick up and drop off infront of hotel. Shopping at Queen Street is across the hotel. Variety of F&B surrounding the hotel. Only con was, our room was above the pubs with night clubbers could be heard after late nights and undergoing construction from as early as 8am.
