Hotel Sailer was absolutely fantastic! A+++++”
My friend & I had a fabulous experience at Hotel Sailer, the Staff were super friendly, spoke clear english, helpful, attentive & knowledgeable, the hotel was quite central and a small walk to walk to any tourist area ie Golden Roof, or train station (1 block) , loved the convenience of its locality!! Our room was modern, clean, beds were so comfy!, room was quiet at night, Breakfast was anything you could ever want to eat, a great selection of Hot foods as well as Continental, & fresh fruits, bread rolls, selections of different breads,, juices, and the coffee was Amazing!!! The 100yr old Hotel exceeded my expectations, I loved the carving on the wooden ceiling in the breakfast room., that was original for sure. Overall would highly recommend to any travellers... Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Sailer!!

We were greeted warmly by staff who were very helpful with advice about what to do. Where to go etc. Very clean room with spacious bathroom. Close to station, buses and town centre.

Our room is of good size and well illuminated. The location of the hotel is excellent, being near to the train station, the main shopping area and the old town.

The bathroom is not good!”
Although the staffs are very kind, the bathroom’s door does not work well. The water is still leaking out. Except for this the others are ok. However, it gave us a trauma because it was like a flood…

In such heat the hotel does not even have a fan. ”
It was quite hot and getting a fan was also a luxury . There is no air conditioning. Only a small fan was provided. Couldn't sleep at all and was sweating through the night or afternoon.

Opposite train station, convenient fir Flix bus too. Walking distance to attraction. Breakfast is so good, with many varieties. Room is cosy, clean and bed is so comfortable.

Spacious comfortable room. Daily attention; Breakfast - excellent choices. Evening meal offers wide range of menu and cost including some welcomes "Austrian" dishes e.g. enjoyable goulash Staff cheerful and efficient. Quiet location - 5 mins from railway and bus station.and not much more from Golden Roof and Xmas markets. As an older traveller shower over the bath ( rather than walk in ) tests the agility !!

Impossible to work with that lighting. The desktop is too small, cramped with things and the funny way of how the TV is placed, makes it very uncomfortable. From the pictures to my actual room, there were a few diffrerences

No room heating when cold outside”
It was 8 degrees Celsius outside (46F), and correspondingly cold inside. They did not bother to put on the heating, even though I complained. When I am paying more than EUR 200 per night (there was the cycling world cup in the city so all hotels were quite expensive,), I expect that I don't have to freeze at night and hide below two blankets ...
