Good hotel old but reliable”
Have no complaints, everything was clean staff was nice. Hotel is quite old but everything was still working. Good luxurious neighborhood. Would consider staying here again. There's a Five Guys burger and El Corte Ingles nearby.

Great location, very good breakfast and clean rooms with crispy clean bed shits. Minus is that the rooms are not sound proof, one can hear people in other rooms snoring.

Hotel with good location, you can walk everywhere without the need for the metro. Close to center, close to nice shopping streets, close to Bernabeu. Very poor wifi though.

A nice hotel to sleep in; but not much more”
Easy access to the main roads in Madrid within the Serrano region. Few minutes away from multiple restaurants and bars. Easy access to bus stop and a short walk to the metro station. The rooms are a bit small and pokey -- which meant I felt very cramped and disappointing for a 4 star hotel. No tea/coffee services in the bedroom and the bar shuts quite early (10pm) so you really don't want to be in the hotel just to chill and hang out. But super comfy bed. Good shower!

Great visit to Madrid”
The hotel is very well located, clean and with comfy beds. We did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment. It is very well located within Salamanca barrio with many cool cafes, bars and shops. Would go back!

Perfect Location but poor facilities ”
I had a room with small window and courtyard view. No day light for whole day. Perfect location but lack of facilities. Safe was not working, no kettle and no any free water included. Due to location, I can put 3*, but not more.

Good short stay”
I came back for graduation ceremony and I know Salamanca area very well. This hotel wins for location as it's right next to Serrano, close to all the shops. The quality of bathroom essentials are not good, we didn't use anything, even the paper towels are too thin. Good for short night stay, but not long term tho.

Excellent Location with Helpful Staff”
Location was excellent, right in the shopping district! Staff was extrememly helpful, always available to provide advice. Well furnished and very clean.

Nice hotel in great location”
Very nice location. The rooms were nice and clean and staff was useful. Would stay there again (we had a 2 year old daughter with us - no problem staying there with kids)

Simple Outdated”
I needed to do something in the embassy area so I chose to book Serrano as it is the relatively cheaper one with good reviews (above 8.0 is my searching standard). I took renfe C1 from the airport to recoletos station which is faster than metro. And it is about 1 km from recoletos station to the hotel. I had only a carry-on suitcase and the street is an avenue so it's comfortable to walk with one piece of suitcase. The location and area are great for strolling around, shopping and dining. But I'm very disappointed by the hotel room. The whole room is so outdated. The interior, bathroom and the appliances, even the linen felt old and damp. PS. Hotel's internet doesn't work on macbook because iOS' secure feature makes it unable to load the wifi login page. This is another example of how outdated this hotel is, that they haven't update their internet system to accommodate the up-to-date needs.

Everything looks old but room is spacious. Overall staff helpful only one of the staffs who is unfriendly as he looks impatient when I requested for hot water at 6am. Told me that I can only request for hot water after a certain timing. I was a bit unhappy as I requested hot water for my wife who felt sick. Poor customer service.
