Misleading 4 stars hotel”

Hotel indicated as 4 stars but it actually is 2 star at best. The room is very dirty and there is blood stain on bedsheet. Shower water didn’t seem to be clean as well as both my gf and myself felt itchy after bathing. Room don’t provide AC but according to staff that is because it is winter and we can open the window for cold air. But the problem is when the window is opened, it gets very noise from the road. We booked four nights but after two nights we decided to book a new hotel.

bedbug ”

I used room 107 but the bathroom floor was broken and the water ran out of the ceiling. The terrace window could not be locked from the inside. During my stay in Barcelona, I started getting bug bites and it wasn't until I got home that I knew it was Badberg. The location was so good and the staff was so kind and nice, but the facility had nothing to do with kindness. I thought I should let him know about Bedberg's existence belatedly, even through a review. That way, they'll take care of it. Now that my trip is over, but I am still suffering from insect bites.

Can't beat the location! ”

In addition to the staff being very courteous, the hotel is near most of the major attractions. It is a 3 minute walk from the Cathedral. Yet it was very quiet.

Good place to stay”

This is a good hotel, near to sights, shops, restaurants and similar, walking from here was easy including to the station. The staff were really friendly, polite, helpful. The room was tidy and comfortable even though a little dated. Wifi worked well, there was a fridge and safe in the room and an elevator.

Excellent location, excelllent staff, subpar wifi”

Location was walking distance from gothic area and not too far walking distance from La Rambla. Kept getting kicked out of WiFi from room. Business center in lobby and lounge area. WiFi better in lobby. Beds were two twin beds pushed.m together. Double glass doors for balcony kept most of traffic noise to a minimum. Restaurant downstairs, not affiliated to hotel stays open late. Taxis available in the roundabout a block away. Tourist Bus tour stop in roundabout. Booked last minute so price was cheaper than most given location.

Great Location”

I loved the location as well as how clean it was. The Staff was super helpful and friendly. This place was great!

Not a 4 star hotel”

Location was excellent but the hotel is definitely not worth of four stars! The room was tiny and only had a small window which was covered. Service was ok.

before booking this hotel i read some reviews, there was poor review about cleanliness, but i had no time for searching another hotel, so i booked it. room was small but enough for 2 of us. service was everyday and it was surprise for me, based on reviews i was expecting dirty rooms, but everyday my room was cleaned. towels and toiletries was changed everyday. so i recommend this hotel. location was great. near la rambla. just 5 min walk.

Dirty and they couldn't help”

The rooms were very dirty, there was blood on the floor and the A/C didn't work. The next room had blood on the mattress. It was bad bad!

Location and Value”

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for anyone looking to see all that Barcelona has to offer and at a reasonable price. 2 slight disappointments: on the last 2 days some early morning construction was extremely annoying (not good for hangovers) and for some reason the housekeeping simply reshuffled sheets when making the bed rather than washing and replacing. However, overall I would recommend this hotel.

not recommended at all”

I highly don't recommend this hotel. this is not a 4 star hotel. it is a 1 star hotel. the bed was not comfortable. The AC was very load. the problem is that i already did an advanced payment and i couldn't change the hotel.

Barcelona ”

a bare necessity hotel that surpassed expectations”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was a perfect size and price for the short 2-day vacation I had in Barcelona.

Nice foyer. Strange room configuration”

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant enough. The only major bad point for me was that their free wifi internet access didn't work for my iPhone or iPad. I suspect this was because they were both running iOS6. After complaining about this, I was simply told that "yes, there is a problem with some Apple devices". They weren't willing to actually fix the problem. Other than that, the room was a little small, but it was adequate.

Perfect location”

Good location, but very small room relatively even I have upgrade to junior suit. No any reply/feedback for my complaint of air-condition. No more next time!!

Great location but small rooms”

the room was very dirty because we saw some bugs crawling across the room. it was however nice to have a terrace to see the older parts of the town. the front desk people were not so nice when we asked them about directions and tours. the internet was free so that's a plus.

Great location, good rooms, nice hotel”

Great location, we like walking so could get to see alot on foot. Close to metro and bus stops for further sight seeing! Close to alot of great food and drinking (tapas in barri gothic!!!) Modern rooms and good price!

Great location, but so-so rooms”

I liked the hotel location as it was near Jaume I and sits on the edge of the Gothic Quarter. This makes it quite easy to get around. A bit of a walk to get to Las Ramblas but not far by any stretch. Room was clean enough and of a decent-sized. I would recommend to friends.

Good location, small room”

a bit too expensive compared with the quality. Good location, but rooms are small and toilet is a bit too small. Breakfast is ok, but just average.

hotel is locate in the heart of city! please just take a walk around then you will know that everything close by (plaza cantalunya, airport aerobus station, la ramba street and etc)! hotel wifi is ok but recommend to use at lobby if you have ipad or notebook! have a good stay
