A spacious room opens out onto a balcony with amazing views of Malaga below. Beautiful rooftop pool and sun deck. Excellent breakfast, with waiter service. Staff are all very polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel is gorgeous! And the service is very good. And because it's on top of the hill, it has a breath-taking view of Malaga! But also because it's on top of the hill, you'd always have to go up and down to the city/beach, there is nothing much around the hotel. It's about 15-20min walk down to the city, maybe 30min to the beach, or 10min by taxi. Going down is not so tough and you'd be going through a nice garden, but after walking around the city coming back uphill may feel tiring. But the hotel is excellent! I am so happy we stayed here for our Malaga stay, you wouldn't get a better view than here! The staff were all very nice and helpful.

Hotel is all about ‘location’. Stunning views of Malaga day and night. Buffet Breakfast were only ‘ok’ and not to usual parador standard, cleaning service was excellent, other staff pleasant and ok

Stunning setting with wonderful views ”
Set close to the castle on the hill, the rooms have wonderful views (although make sure you don’t have ground floor rooms). Set away from the hustle and bustle of Malaga , but with a fairly regular bus service (35)- otherwise a steep climb up and down the paths. Lovely and clean but food and beverages were a little pricey. Plenty of free parking which is a plus for central Malaga. Would definitely return.

We stayed in this beautiful ancient parador for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. When we arrived late in the evening and were greeted warmly by the helpful front desk staff. Our room was clean and appealing with a beautiful view from our balcony of the the Mediterranean, the lights of the city and the mountains. We had dinner in the restaurant with excellent food and wonderful service.. The breakfast buffet was also great with a lot of fresh fruit selections in addition a spread of meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, coffee, tea. Gluten free options were available at both meals. During the day, the view of Malaga from our room was fabulous. Located close to the Gibralfaro Castle, we walked down to the city/beach on a stone walkway which was quite steep but a fun adventure. Climbing back up to the hotel was quite strenuous, but a fun adventure, so beware - taxis are also available. This was an amazing place and we'd definitely stay here again!

Really a beautiful hotel and a beautiful location. Our room was large and very pretty. I loved the view. It is a nice walk down the hill to the city center. I will stay at the Parador Malaga again when I return to Malaga.

Spectacular views of Malaga from its high vantage point right next to the castle ruins.”
Rooms are clean and modern with good facilities. Lovely friendly staff, very helpful and always with a smile. We arrived late at night after our flight was delayed and the barman opened up the bar specially to get us drinks and free snacks. Nice pool, but would benefit from a drinks area up there on the roof. We didn't experience breakfast as we felt it was too pricey and was not included in the price of our room. A half hour walk down a very steep path to get to town, but with breathtaking views along the way. We made it down and back up again, but didn't have the energy to repeat it twice in one day a taxi cost about 6 euros each way. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cafe help was not friendly! Restaurant never brought the dinner my friend ordered! The hotel was fine but really lacked in the food personnel.
