The Nalod is a very good hotel situated right in front of the My Khe beach. We made the right choice by booking this hotel. Clean well maintained. Booked the ocean view room which is the best. The view from the room overlooking the sea is amazing specially during sunrise and sunset. Rooms are very clean and spacious with all the needful amenities. Staff is very kind and courteous. The breakfast buffet is massive with a wide choice of food. Thank you to the staff and management of The Nalod hotel for making our stay pleasant.
I just had a 3-day, 3-night vacation at Nalod Hotel and was very satisfied with my experience here. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean, fully equipped, and the sea view is beautiful. In particular, I would like to thank Nhi – the customer support staff – for being so warm and friendly. Throughout my stay, she was always very attentive and quick to assist me whenever I had a request. Her small but thoughtful gestures contributed to making my vacation more comfortable. I will definitely return to Nalod if I have the chance and will also recommend it to my friends. Thank you to the hotel and the entire staff team!
My family has a good trip at Da Nang on 11 June to 14 June. We stayed at Nalod, a nice hotel with good view to sea and city, clean room, well maintained facilities, good prepare breakfast . Friendly staffs especially Mr Thuan Huu ( lobby waiter), thanks for his support and guidance when our family stuck by the storm. Thank to the Driver Mr Pham Minh Nghia who brought us to the airport today. Overall i rate the Nalod 5*. See you again in my next vacation.
The purpose of writing this review is not to slam this hotel but to help fellow travellers who are looking for a comfortable 5 star hotel as this may not be the best choice. There is little luxurious or 5 star about it and I sadly would not recommend it. I feel it should be reclassified as a 3 or 4 star until they renovate and reopen facilities as required. Please note that this is the ONLY time we have ever written a negative review on a Hotel. Room: We booked a city view double room for 7 nights. It had a good view of the city skyline and lights. We declined the ocean view upgrade offered as the ocean view room was much smaller. Our room was basic with good air con and large comfy bed. There are only a small number of English tv channels, the bathroom is very tired, hot water very slow to come through and the toiletries very basic (not luxurious as described). Room is very noisy from both the adjacent rooms and hallways as there is very little if any soundproofing. This was very disturbing with Christmas music piped into the hallways all day and early into the evening and noise from tour groups going late into the evening and then recommencing early in the morning, The room itself is basic and not a 5 star hotel room as paid for and advertised. Breakfast: Large breakfast room with many choices and a good egg and soup station, good pastries. Options were the same every day with little variation. The breakfast room can get very busy and noisy especially with tour groups. Fortunately, we were able to avoid some of this by going a bit later. Pool: The pool is large with plenty of deck chairs, umbrellas, towels and sunshine exposure. It has potential to be stunning. Unfortunately, there area large number of tiles loose or missing (almost 1/10th of the pool surface) I inadvertently touched the wall of the pool while swimming and 3 tiles came off in my hand. The decking is failing and lifting in places which is a trip/cut hazard. Gym: The gym is a huge disappointment - it is simply non functional with limited, broken, rusty, tired poor quality equipment. The gym has no air conditioning, no opening widows, towels or water. There is one small ceiling fan - even on a cool day it can be very uncomfortable (I joined a local gym with a 3 day pass for just 150k VND). It is promoted as a beautiful space with modern equipment which is a misrepresentation. The Skybar, Gourmet Restaurant and the Spa, as mentioned on the hotel website and in the literature in the room, were all closed and appear to have been closed for years. There is nothing in the spaces except for old signage. The in-room literature commented on looking forward to the Skybar opening in 2017!! For a 5 star hotel the lack of amenities is unacceptable. Staff were all friendly but indifferent to our concerns. Shortly after checking in we contacted Agoda with our concerns as we booked and paid for a 5 star hotel based on the description and services offered. Despite a timely response by Agoda, we felt dismissed without fair consideration. We had asked for an Agoda credit (not refund) of the remaining nights so that we could book a new hotel through Agoda. This request was declined. Upon hearing from Agoda that we were unhappy with the hotel, the hotel brought us a small complimentary fruit platter and standard apology letter. Unfortunately, a fruit platter does not make a 3 star hotel into a 5 star hotel. Update: After leaving the Nalod we checked into another 5 star hotel in Hue. It is a similar price point but completely different: stylish, sophisticated, super comfortable, excellent hotel gym, stunning pool, highly maintained and amazing breakfast.

I stayed at Nalod Hotel in Da Nang for 3 nights, and hands down, it was one of the best hotel experiences of my Vietnam trip. First off, the location is unbeatable. It’s right on the main beach road — you wake up to breathtaking ocean views, and everything you could possibly need is within arm’s reach. There’s a supermarket literally a stone’s throw away, which made grabbing essentials super convenient. Whether you're stepping out for a stroll, need a quick bite, or just want to soak in the beach vibes, Nalod’s location puts you right in the center of it all. The property itself is modern, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The room was spacious, bright, and offered panoramic views of the beach and skyline — waking up to that every morning was a treat. The mood of the space is calm yet luxurious, and it really helped me unwind after a long day of exploring. I also got to try the breakfast buffet during my stay, and it was impressive — a great spread with both local Vietnamese options and international staples. From pho and banh mi to eggs, fruits, and pastries — it was fresh, well-stocked, and satisfying. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout, always ready to assist with a smile. Everything from housekeeping to the front desk ran like clockwork. For a property this size, they really maintain a high standard of hospitality. If you’re heading to Da Nang and want a stay that offers comfort, top-tier views, a great location, and solid service, look no further than Nalod. I’d happily return here in a heartbeat.
