Wish I could give more stars”
Great location, very close to the beach, big market and cheap delicious Thai food restaurants within few minutes walk. Cleanness is a big disappointment since we have found a dirty earplug under the duvet and used mask. I guess it was left over after the previous guests. Also there were yellow stains on the bed and the sand which made us doubt if this room was even cleaned before our arrival. We couldn’t charge our phones, the plug kept falling off from the socket as it came loose.

Room wasn't ready, and dilapidated huts scattered around.”
We arrived at 1 pm and were told that our rooms wouldn't be ready until 5 pm. No explanation was given. And when we returned at 6 pm, we were told to wait even longer, and the staff declined to give us any reasons. When we insisted on checking in, they revealed that they were still repairing the air-conditioners, and we decided to use the fan without the AC. The area is in dire need of maintenance, our beachfront huts were tiny, and there were many abandoned huts all around us, in a state of disrepair. It almost seems like the managers have allowed these huts to slowly disintegrate by themselves, and rented out those that still had walls. The view is amazing though.

Great Resort with lovely staff”
We were obviously staying there for the full moon party in Koh Phangan. The 3 person hut was perfect, located right on the beach with 2 large double beds and a hammock outside on a small deck area. The huts were quite dark but they were clean and came with fans which was all that mattered. There is a lovely reasonable restaurant in the resort which has both thai and westernised food to choose from. There is a shop on site but you are also in walking distance to other shops outside. It is easy to get a taxi from the resort to the full moon party and back again.

Nice beach resort”
upon arrival, we were happy to be upgraded to deluxe rooms. these rooms are big and have a big enough bathroom with a nice aquarium (no fish) cum waterfall. the room was too hot for the small ac to do some cooling to the hot sun. they need to put up some higher capacity ac's and see that the door closes off well without gaps. small refrigerator, small tv with few channels (a movie channel from macau) with dim lighting in room. few of deluxe rooms are facing beach, but all are on them anyhow. the resort has a restaurant, highly priced, serving some very good food, but the breakfast was quite limited. beach here is quite shallow up to a km, swimming would not be enjoyed much. charging plugs are just 2, out of which one is dedicated to fridge and other 2 pin plug becomes unusable. there is play area for some kick volleyball, snooker tables, swimming pool and internet. wifi is only available in restaurant. hotel staff is very kind and cute receptionists. try renting bikes from outside (should cost 100 thb), renting from hotel would be like 200 thb and the guy next door would deliver anyway and fill gas from stations near the hotel, rather than the bike renting guy. ask for free transfer in from pier, but if you choose to use this service while transfer out back to pier (bus also starts from pier), you have to pay 80 thb/person for a ride in minivan with weak ac. better try songthew outside resort, if you are on budget.

Great accommodation & friendly staff”
Staff were very accommodating, warm and friendly. Rooms were clean, quaint & fit for purpose Recreational facilities were great, more than expected as I have usually stayed at business class hotels Overall, I would not hesitate staying at Power Beach Resort again or recommending to other travellers looking for a place to stay in Koh Phangan which has atmosphere & bustling with international travellers.

Small rooms on the beach”
These rooms are small, but right on the private beach. Small refrigerator, small TV with few channels (a movie channel from Macau). The resort has a restaurant, highly priced, serving some very good food, but the breakfast was quite limited. Beach here is quite shallow up to a KM, swimming would not be enjoyed much. Charging plugs are just 2, out of which one is dedicated to fridge and other 2 pin plug becomes unusable. There is play area for some kick volleyball, snooker tables, swimming pool and internet. Wifi is only available in restaurant. Hotel staff is very kind and cute receptionists. Try renting bikes from outside (should cost 100 THB), renting from hotel would be like 200 THB and the guy next door would deliver anyway and fill gas from stations near the hotel, rather than the bike renting guy. Ask for free transfer in from pier, but if you choose to use this service while transfer out back to pier (bus also starts from pier), you have to pay 80 THB/person for a ride in minivan with weak AC. Better try songthew outside resort, if you are on budget.

Great resort, but just a little off location”
There is nothing bad to say about the resort itself. It offers both aircon and fan rooms and although the fan rooms get quite hot, it is nothing unacceptable. It is a great place to meet people, as the common room/restaurant is very inviting. Staff is incredibly friendly and there to help you 24/7. Drawbacks to the resort is that the beach in order to find a beach you can actually swim in without having to walk about two miles in the water is a little further away and if you are coming to koh phangan for the full moon party, it is still pretty far away from the haad rin beach. Seeing taxis are 100B a person one way, it might be cheaper in the end to take a slightly more expensive room on the haad rin beach. However, if this is not the case. Renting a motorbike is great and will be able to take you everywhere for only 150 baht a day. So, great resort with not the best location.

Excellent and cheapish”
the hotel is ideal for the young traveller going for the full moon party. close enough to get to and from by cab for a cheap price and also quiet and peaceful for the days of recovery. staff were excellent and the restaurant in the resort is second to none in thailand. the restaurant also backs onto the beach!

Huge hotel with great atmosphere”
I'd definately stay here again. The rooms aren't the greatest - but to be honest, we were hardly in ours. I was in a group of 9 people all 22 - 23 and the atmosphere on the beach was exactly what we were looking for. During the full moon period it seems that most occupants are all under teh age of 30 and up for a party. I wouldn't recommend a family to stay here. My only issue was the non-negotiable 100 baht per person trip to haad rin beach. A little steep if you ask me but it seemed to be the going rate, not just from the hotel bus drivers.

We done first a reservation for 4 days. The staff on the hotel was so nice that we extended 7 more nights. STAFF super nice and helpfully, especially coco at the reception and the chief cooker. Super satisfait de l'hôtel. L'équipe est super amicale et serviables en particulier coco à la réception et le cuisinier. We are traveling with our 14 months old baby and the staff made our stay fantastic. Bungalows in front of the beach. Super safe for kids because not deep and not rocky. Bungalows front de mer. Plage de sable blond et eau peu profondeur idéale pour enfants.

Super friendly staff, nice location”
Really fun resort. We stayed here for 3 nights around the full moon party (Jungle party a few nights before is worth going to, just down the road)..Wasnt too far at all from the action but just far enough (tuk tuks make it so easy to get around anyway). Great party atmosphere, pool near the sea really nice, rooms are nice with all you need. Buffet breakkie okay, food good and not too pricey. We really enjoyed our stay!! Hopefully will be back to visit our new friends at Power Beach

fun resort complex”
the best part about this resort is the two pools! the restaurant was nice, but too expensive for budget travelers. the adjoining beach was dirty and had trash- i would not swim there. the bungalow was very basic for the price but there are hot showers. we moved after one night because there are much better deals to be had on the island. there was no wifi in our bungalow.

Lovely bungalows and helpful staff”
After a long journey from Bangkok we arrived at Power Beach Resort and were pleasantly surprised. Our bungalow was small but was perfect for what we needed it for. It had everything we needed, on the beach, free pool and snooker, two swimming pools, cocktails and good food. It is also about a 15 minute taxi ride away from Haad Rin beach and could get there for 100TBH per person. Great for full moon party! The staff were very helpful and dropped us off at the pier for a small fee.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Great value for money with 2 nice pools right on the ocean. Room is more than enough for what you pay.. People who complain are expecting a 5 star resort.. Which you know you're not getting.

Simple bungalows; really liked the resort layout, the beach/pool and beach bar. Transportation to Full Moon Party/Jungle Experience was easily accessible - the resort will arrange it for you for 50-100B per person. Free transfer in from the pier is provided.

very nice place to stay although next time i would upgrade my room to one with air con. other than that everyone is very nice. try the thai massages available near the pool they are the best. love being able to walk straight on to the beach from the restaurant.

Resort was fine, the bungalow wasn't.”
Unfortunatly we were really disapointed with the room, it did not look anything like the web site. the resort was ok, mainly suited to young groups wanting late night drinking from buckets. We went for the full moon party, and for that it was ideally located. but as a couple we wanted a little more luxury. The room was beyond basic, a padlock to lock the front door, a sink that leaked, no safety deposit box in room (you can get lockers from recpetion but you need to buy your own padlock from the local shop.) The bed was hard with no sheet (just a small towel/rug to cover us). There are signs in the room that state you shouldnt sit on the toilet incase it breaks and the resort will fine you. We did have mosi's in the room and a large spider in the bathroom which I guess is expected to some degree. The beach was nice but there are only resorts along that strip no restaurants or beach front bars. Taxi's are expensive and seem to charge what they like, it wasz 100b to had rinn each and 200b back each, 100 to and from thong sala. you can walk to bann tai strip which have a few decent bars and food places, but not the cheapest. if we went back we probably choose a different part of the iland, or at least upgrade to a delux bungalow.

Lovely Resort”
It was a beautiful resort with lovely surroundings including beach and two pools. It was a bit out of the way but still very nice. 20 min taxi journey to Had Rin.
