"- Staff were friendly and helpful. - Rooms and toilet were clean. - A small lamp(reading light) beside the bed. - Hammocks under the trees are excellent place to relax. - A small area with bean bags to chill! - During happy hours(at night) u can get beers for very cheap price. A good time to hang out with others. - 2 min walk to the Long Beach. If bored games are available would be great. Yet, its still a grrat place to make friends and have a chill time. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in Koh Lanta. 100% worth the money."

"If you are in Koh Lanta, that's the place to be! The staff is so amazing. During my stay there were two guys celebrating their birthday and the hostel gave both of them a birthday cake with candles and beer for free. For Christmas they offered a Christmas-dinner and even drinks for free. That hostel maid my days in Koh Lanta one of the best time during my whole journey! The rooms are clean, the breakfast is really good and the staff just great! I can just highly recommend that hostel!!!"

"I really liked it here!! The main lady at reception was so amazing and kind! One of my favourite hosts! The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere but close to Long Beach. The beds are a bit hard, but they're hard everywhere in Thailand. But they're nice and private. Facilities are great. I was very happy with this hostel, and I definitely recommend it while in Koh Lanta. "

"I've stayed in a few hostels. This is one of my favourites. Lovely staff so welcoming and smiling. The hostel is so chilled and peaceful. Good showers. Breakfast is included but me personally I don't eat breakfast so didn't have any. Kantiang bay itself is a lovely part of Koh lanta. Very welcoming feel to the whole place , gorgeous beach, lovely food and people . The hostel is a 2 minute walk from the bay itself. I'd definitely stay again, if you want a party hostel this isn't for you. But if you want somewhere to enjoy the surroundings, relax, and have a good sleep then this is for you. thank you for being so welcoming. "

"Non la mer was such a wonderful stay for me. I stayed 5 nights in koh Lanta. It was located pretty centrally which meant (if up for a long walk) was close enough to walk to the north pier area. The beach is a 5 minute walk across the street, and is super quiet.. I was the only one on the beach for kilometres some days. Across the street "papaya" restaurant is VERY good, lots of dishes for 60THB which means a dish and a drink for 100THB. The best part about this hostel was the staff. All the girls at the front desk were so smiley and welcoming every time I came "home". One even took me with her to the Sunday market and explained which Thai foods were the most tasty. Even though I was a solo traveller, these girls made my trip 100x better. Sometimes they even made some baking to share with the guests. Honestly, these girls were amazing <3 Delicious toast, tea and jam for breakfast. Definitely a quiet island, great for book reading, relaxing and exploring the whole thing via scooter (see the old town and diamond cliff). This is the best hostel on koh Lanta (and yes, I'm biased) "

"This hostel must be given the respect that it deserves. Mr Sombat, the owner of the hostel, has strived to establish a top quality accomadation for those backpacking or travelling on a budget. We had arrived to find out that the hostel had only been open for one week. The interior is well decorated in a contemporary, modern fashion. The doorms are also good and what is even better, is the cleanlieness of the bathroom and toilet. Wifi is one of the fastest we've had at a hostel. The entire hostel is cleaned every day including the dorms. What is even better is the fact that the owner allows his guests from the hostel to use the excellent swimming pool facility in his neighbouring resort. We were able to rent bikes from the reception and dealt with changing one of them. Overall this is a great hostel experience and visitors should not be put off by the fact that it is new and has few reviews up till now."

"The woman running this small guesthouse is lovely for starters:) Although they are basic they are very clean and get cleaned everyday as well. Everything you need is there...comfy bed (not Thai style), hot shower, cold AC, clean smelling sheets and towels, soap/shampoo/tp and water everyday:) For the price and area (5 min to beach and fun bars all around) you can’t go wrong if on a budget. Walls are very thin but that’s also pretty standard in guest houses and bungalows in the area. "
