A home away from home”

Firstly, let me start with a small disappointment. The curtain in my room (#305) was defect and had shoe marks all over. That kind of marred a perfect score if I were to rate this hotel. The other was the inconsistency in the toilettries where some days they were replenished and anothe day-not. Now back to the positives- 1) the room was neat and new with a wonderful view of the street; 2) the interior and furnishing were fairly modern; equipped with a Samsung tablet for guidance on the hotel's offerings; 3) breakfast (if purchased with the room) was really pleasant and adequate; not too much nor too little in terms of variety and scrumptious. The servers were also very attentive ensuring my coffee and water was ready as soon as I sat down-amazing!; 4) location-superb; near top shopping malls and if you needed a taxi, easily obtainable; 5) best of all- the staff were world class. I have stayed in well known hotels and the personnel at the Titanic Deluxe (fr the concierge to the reception, to the waiter/waitress, manager and even the chambermaids/cleaners) were all exceptional in character. The one other hotel that was close was a well known one in Hong Kong. Everyone I met there was so willing to help, was courteous, patient and went all the way in ensuring my stay was a pleasant and memorable one. My luggage unfortunately did not make it to Berlin the same day I arrived but 3 days later. The staff at Titanic Deluxe made such an effort to stay on hold with the airlines everyday to find out the status of my luggage. When it arrived, it was whisked straight to my room. I noticed the hotel is also extremely sensitive towards the needs of the physically challenged or aged. So I will recommend this place for those having a need for wheelchair access and handrails, etc. Well, suffice to say, I will definitely consider staying here again in future. It certainly felt like home away from home for me.

Titanic Gendarmenmarkt is beautiful hotel located close to good shopping and excellent restaurants. My room was very well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Highly Recommended to anyone visiting Berlin.

i have been in few hotels in Berlin , no doubt Titanic Gendarmenmarkt are on eof the best value for money . At the same time as a business travel i would expect some benefits from Membership option which they don't have.

Make business travel easy”

The reasons I stay at the Titanic are quite straightforward. They make life so easy. The room is always prepared, and the staff super-attentive. I was at another restaurant in Berlin, where wine was spilled across the better suit I brought, and I had a meeting the next da. I dropped off the suit for cleaning late – probably about 2am – and it was back with me by noon in time for the meeting. Pressed and sorted. Shoes shined. The breakfast is exceptional. I love that there's a coffee machine and you can make your own espresso, and have as many as you would like. The hammam is simply fantastic. And I love the space. It's a nice place to be in. The area is awesome during the day. At night, it's a bit light on places to go. One day, I presume they'll figure out what this hotel is worth. Until then, it's the best value in Berlin.

From the warm welcome to checkout it was 5 stars. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The restaurant and bar were both excellent in every way. Location was perfect, we walked everywhere - fabulous restaurant and bars in walking distance as well as many cultural highlights. Brandenburg gate, Museum Island, The Reichstag , the University were all within walking distance. The Berlin Film Festival was on the same time and everywhere was busy but this did not impact on service. Sebastian, the conceirge, was a delight and most helpful. Will definitely be revisiting Berlin as such an amazing city and 3 days wasn’t long enough and will stay at this hotel again.

German quality, Turkish hospitality. ”

We chose this hotel because of the location as it is next to famous Friedrichstraße and other famous sights of Berlin. The hotel corresponds to its stars. When we arrived before check-in time the receptionist was so nice to let us check-in before 15.00. When we arrived in the room the was complimentary bootle of water awaiting for us, which was so nice. The breakfast is worth special mentioning. First of all, it was very tasty, any person with any dietary habits can satisfy himself. I highly recommend when in Berlin staying at this hotel.

Titanic Gendarmarkt”

This hotel was perfect for our family of 5 (3 sons- ages 20/18/16). We did have to book 2 rooms, but both were decent sizes. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The location was great, close to everything, including great restaurants. We would definitely stay at The Titanic Gendarmarkt again. PS. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was great too!

Fabulous location, elegant hotel”

Overall we enjoyed our four nights at the Titanic. We found the room a bit snug---not really enough space for me to lie on the floor and do my usual stretches. The decor was elegant, though some of the details were a bit tacky (like an ersatz curtain decoration behind the bed.) Having a tiny balcony was lovely. The breakfast was extensive and varied, but mixed quality (for ex, they served coffee in a pitcher which was nice, but it was a different strength every day.) The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location could not have been better for us...within a block or two of three subway stations, walking distance from most areas of interest.

Really Wonderful Hotel”

It took me a long time to decide on our hotel for 3 nights in Berlin. I wanted something old word but not worn out. This hit the mark! Beautiful hotel, lovely bar, and choose the inclusive breakfast which was outstanding. Rooms size was adequate. We had a view of the French Dome which was beautiful. The location cannot be beat, nothing more than a 20 min walk. So Happy to have stayed here with my family

Would stay here again”

Incredible hotel, very beautiful. In a fantastic loctaion in Berlin, very central, but down a quiet street so little noise. Lovely rooms, with big bathrooms. Only criticism is that the rooms are on the small side. But the facilities are great and we wasn’t in our room much other than for sleeping. Would stay here again, and recommend to others.

Long Week-end in Berlin”

We loved the hotel. Clean, professional and friendly staff and the concierge, Sebastian was just so helpful and friendly. He booked our walking tour as well as made a restaurant reservation on our behalf. Would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a few nights of luxurious accommodation in wonderful Berlin.

Fantastic hotel, central location. Great bar and restaurant, close to other restaurants. Easy to access the sights of Berlin from this excellent hotel. Fantastic staff, so helpful and polite. Hotel is beautifully clean and the gym is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Superb Berlin Hotel”

Great location, friendly helpful staff, but no swimming pool and no bath in room”

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff made this a good base for 6 days in Berlin. But room had no bath and to get one would have needed a suit at €500 more per night. Also the spa had no pool. So our only option to rest tired sight seeing legs was a shower and sauna. Lovely non the less but a bath in the room would have made all the difference for a winter city break.

Beautiful hotel”

This was our first stop on a 7-city personal Christmas Market tour. The hotel was lovely as the staff and breakfast was absolutely spectacular. The set up was unbelievable. It was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location and we will return here should our travels bring us back to Berlin.

Clean and well worth the price”

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge didn't have a lot of basic information like where to change money so I had to do a lot of research myself. He knew the city though so he gave good and clear directions. They have bikes for rent for 20euro per day but there is a place around the corner for 12euro per day. Also, they will exchange money for you but the fee is high. I learned you need a lot of cash in Berlin as a lot of small places don't take credit cards.

Titanic am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin”

The Hotel is located close to the Bundestag and in walking distance to major sights. We had a pleasant stay, the hotel is very clean and with friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Berlin.

First time in Berlin, staff very pleasant and help full, relaxing hotel however location good plenty things to see and do. Beds very comfortable and clean, will return on our next trip.

Great location close to everything you want to see. Also a vary cool biilding. In a remodeled old biilding. Service was amazing both in the restaurant and at the front desk. Room was small but perfect. Can not recommend it enough. Perfect place to stay in Berlin.

We were in Berlin for the marathon and this hotel really made the stay comfortable. Everything in walking distance and staff are friendly and helpful.
