Location is what makes Vida Downtown a great choice for travelers. Right across it (whether you choose the ground level pedestrian lane or through the underground parking) is the entrance to the Burk Park and the picturesque way to the Dubai Mall. A block away is Manzil Souk, which has a Spinneys grocery store. All these can be accessed directly from a side door on the 1st floor of the hotel. Service is generally great and informative, from Mohammed at the front desk to the pool guy, especially the ladies a the restaurant. Room was spacious but I felt had design issues: no power outlet on coffee and kettle shelf, gaps on both sides of glass bathroom doors (meaning, this is not a good sharing room for business travelers), faucet on sink wobbly and sat too low on the sink.

Ambitious, experimental hotel”
Very beautifully designed place. Perfect for big groups or instagrammers. Some elements, like split open-plan bathroom need to be disclosed as it is very different and not all would be comfortable with it. Food was very very dissappinting, felt like a mid-level restaurant in Pakistan, considering pasta (no flavour, used cream in place of roux, chicken overcooked to the point of being rubber) and creme brulee (blackened sugar with burnt-bread flavour). Some elements were barely thought out (bathroom tap almost touching rim of sink, impossible to use). This has the potential to be amazing, but as it stands, it is more wannabe-luxury than luxury

This hotel is in a very walkable area, my only beef is that the staff were just not helpful or particularly friendly. I stayed 5 nights. The pool area is very nice and the hotel has a great restaurant.

Simply the best hotel I have stayed in!”
I will not be staying in any other hotel when I visit Dubai again. Vida blew me away with the service, attentitive staff, amazing location, amazing courtyard / pool / daybed area / the amazing restaurants within the hotel. We stayed here on our honeymoon and they surprised us with a cake the read honeymoon and also sent us a photo of the staff holding a congratulations sign. This hotel is an absolute must stay when traveling to Dubai, I cant speak highly enough!

Comfortable rooms and good service”
I was travelling with a colleague who stayed here before once, and upon check-in they welcomed him back. It's a small detail but effective. We had a comfortable stay, and even though we were late in checking out because our meeting went longer than expected the staff accommodated our circumstance. Location is excellent and I imagine that when the weather is better people can walk around the downtown area to the Burj and Dubai Mall. I would stay here again and its good value for the price.

had 1 night business trip to dubai and i choose qamardeen due to their value for money and good location at downtown burj. the hotel was very clean with friendly staff. internet connection was ready for my work. it is very near to dubai mall with only 10 minutes of walking. small swimming pool but good restaurant. taxi is not a problem, it is everywhere.

Located conveniently and a nice 20 minute walk to Dubai Mall-huge mall,(or limited hotel shuttle, but lots of taxis), which has everything, excellent restaurants& shops and every evening has musical fountain shows you can watch while dining. Entrance to go visit to the top of Burj Khalifa is from this mall. You can see this highest bldg from the hotel, depends where you are. The Hotel itself is very clean, staff are friendly and very helpful, has a nice small gym,delivered daily newspaper, 2 bottled water daily, and a bed turn down treat at night which I loved, a chocolate covered date w almond inside. The shower & bathroom is not so private, but no problem, one has a shower while the other person leaves the room for a few minutes. Breakfast Buffet is pricey but worth it, with a variety of fresh fruits and fresh juices,omelletes cooked to order, and lots of other stuff to suit different palate. Loved it. I will stay here again next time I visit. This is an excellent place for first time visitors and repeaters. Good value for the price

it's quite refreshing to see such friendly service in dubai. the staff seems quite sincere when they smile or deal with us particularly the chinese/asian lady at the reception. room service is also very prompt. they do have to improve on the club sandwich though, very dry and tasteless. the hotel is a walking distance from dubai mall and souk al bahar, which is perfect for a weekend stopover. it's a cosy, quiet and personal hotel, not like most of the hotels in dubai which tends to be over the top and cold. the security guard at the back entrance is rude though. not all asian/chinese girls are 'call girls', he should be careful not to treat asian guests as one of them. otherwise, everything else was great. thank you qamardeen.

Wonderful hotel with arabian features”
It was my first visit to Dubai. I have been staying in 4 different hotels when i was there and it is our second honeymoon vacation. Amongs all 4 hotels, Qamarden is the best hotel. I love the building archetacture with the arabian features. That was my impression when i first enter the hotel area. However when we go into the hotel lobby, it is really wow with the welcomming smell, comfort sofa and while waiting for the check in process we have been serve with an orange juice and scrumptios dates. The hotel room is small but fantastic for a couple espacially for honeymooner. The transparent bath tub area is amazing and it is clean. The most memorable thing we will always remember is the strawberry dip with white cocolate as the complementary to the honeymooners. The restaurent located inside the hotel is also great. They serve all delicious food with fantastic services. Transportation also available at anytime. It was the most memorable vacation and Qamarden will be my first choice in the future.
