“Exceptional”
I loved this hotel! Very clean and comfortable, big rooms with tatami floors, you have an area where you can hang out by the balcony. Beds were comfortable. You also have a ref, kettle, microwave and a small kitchenette with plates and cups and other utensils you might need if you want to do a little cooking. You also have a washing machine in the room so you can load some laundry while you're out sightseeing. There's also a big closet where you can hang your clothes and keep your luggage. This hotel is self check in and check out. There is no reception but you have all the info provided for you in the room and the pamphlets at the check in kiosk. There's a schedule for when you want your towels to be changed, you just have to bring them downstairs at a certain time. Wifi is fast and reliable. Bathroom was bigger than the usual japanese hotel bathroom and super clean as well. They provide toiletries too. There's a nice lobby where you can rest or even work. They provide an area where you can lock your luggage together and leave them if you arrive early or have a late flight out. They have a dispenser where you can get water, coffee or tea for free and a vending machine for other beverages. The only minor downside is the convenience stores are not very near and it's a bit of a walk to the train station (Maybe 8-10 min). We didn't mind the walk though because the weather was so nice. Just make sure you buy what you need if you see a 7-eleven, Lawson or Family Mart before you go back to the hotel. Overall, this hotel is definitely one that I can recommend. It's in a quiet area but just a few minutes walk to Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku Tower and Hondori shopping street, Isshinji temple (Buddha statues made from cremated ashes) and a lot of good restaurants. A mega Donki is in the area too.
